Hey there! If you’re here then like me, you’re looking for new and EASY hacks to improve your lifestyle. Overall health and wellness is really important in my household. So finding ways to implement healthy habits is essential to our everyday function. Today, Id like to share some of those tips with you!

Drink Water When You First Wake Up

Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up in the morning. If you struggle with drinking water, try adding some fruit to it to make it tastier. Drinking water as soon as you wake up has many benefits including; Increased energy levels, boosts your metabolism., helps ease aches and pains, clearer complexion and more radiant skin, fight toxins.

Make Pre- Made Smoothie Packs

Smoothie packs are small freezer bags filled with all or most of your smoothie ingredients. Making smoothie packs and placing them in your freezer saves you time and energy when the time comes for you to make your smoothies. It also helps you to create a regime of getting your daily dose of fruits/veggies.

You can make a smoothie pack by completing the following steps. First, gather your favorite smoothie ingredients; fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc. Prep them and separate the ingredients into servings. The amount of servings depends on how many smoothies you want per week. For me, I make 3-5 packs per week. Next, cut up your fruits and vegetables into your desired size. Now place the ingredients into the individual bags and place them in the freezer. Whenever you want to make a smoothie, all you will have to do is grab a smoothie pack, add it and you favorite liquid to your blender, mix it and enjoy!

*Tip : When making a protein shake, add water first and then the protein so that it doesn't get stuck at the bottom of your shaker.

Meal Prep

I know, I know, you’ve heard it time and time again that meal prep is great. But really, it can sometimes feel time consuming. Heres my advice, do what you can. If you can only meal prep breakfasts meal prep breakfast. If you can only do lunch, then do that. All in all, preparing your meals in advance saves you a TON of time and energy on the back end. Also, meal prep is an effective way to ensure you have healthy options available to you and can also save you money. Add some spices to your meal if you want to get your metabolism firing.

Stretch It Out

When you feel sore, stretch! Whether it’s after a workout, before or after your shower, or just to relax, try stretching. Stretching is a great way to relax you muscles, delay, and reduce soreness. Some other benefits of stretching include; enhancing the range of motion in your muscles and joints. Stretching can also be used as a form of relaxation and meditation. One of the most common forms of stretching that uses meditation in its practices is called yoga.

Clean Your Space!

You might be surprised at how many calories you can burn by simply cleaning, so make a cleaning routine for yourself and do a little bit every day. Remember, everything counts! Cleaning you space can also promote good mental health as well.

Intensify your walks

Challenge yourself and take your walk or run to the next level by adding some small exercises like step-ups, box jumps, or dips. You can build muscle, burn calories, and get fit all while strolling through your neighborhood. If you have small children, try pushing the stroller around for a few blocks on a nice day.
