Today, I will be sharing five effortless breakfast recipes with you. These recipes are a reflection of my breakfast choices throughout the week, from Monday to Friday. They are all quick, easy, and mostly healthy, with an emphasis on protein as I am currently eating for two.
Let's begin with Monday morning's breakfast : is peanut butter and banana toast
I will demonstrate how to make a straightforward yet satisfying meal: peanut butter and banana toast. For this recipe, you will need two slices of sourdough bread, creamy peanut butter, and a ripe banana. I top my toast with hemp seeds and chia seeds and consider it complete. Let's proceed with the recipe. While I understand that you likely don't require an explanation of how to make toast, I begin by slicing two pieces of sourdough bread, which I acquire from a local bakery near my parents' residence. Once toasted, I generously spread peanut butter on both sides of the bread, using more than a tablespoon for each slice. Next, I slice a whole banana and arrange the pieces on top of the toast. To enhance its nutritional value with added protein and healthy fats, I sprinkle a combination of hemp seeds and chia seeds. If desired, flax seeds or sesame seeds can also be included for a delightful variety. The end result is a delicious and nutritious treat.I top my toast with hemp seeds and chia seeds and consider it complete. Let's proceed with the recipe. smoothie :
Since I am increasing the quantity of the smoothie, I am using two large handfuls of spinach. Additionally, I am including a whole banana, two scoops of protein powder, a generous amount of almond butter (approximately two tablespoons), some blueberries, and blending it all together with almond milk. It is also worth considering the inclusion of chia seeds, hemp seeds, or any other combination of seeds for added nutritional benefits. Finally, I added magnesium powder for electrolyte support, as I had it readily available. After blending everything, our smoothie was ready to enjoy.
protein pancakes :
These pancakes are incredibly simple to make. The ingredients include oats, bananas, protein powder, eggs, a small amount of baking powder, and blueberries. First, blend all the ingredients together in a blender. Then, cook the mixture on the stove. The result is a delicious and nutritious meal. Now, let me demonstrate how to make them. By the way, I'm proudly wearing my bacteria-themed shirt from Seed. As you may know from my previous video, I take Seed every morning. Although this video is not sponsored by Seed, I wanted to showcase my awesome sweatshirt. The main components of the pancake batter are a whole banana and approximately three eggs. Occasionally, I only use two eggs, depending on the desired quantity. then I add about half a cup of oats, two scoops of protein powder, and some baking powder. I'll link my full recipe down below that has exact measurements. I didn't totally measure here. And then I blend it up until it has created a smooth batter and I cook it over medium low heat. I like to grease my pan with a little bit of grass-fed butter, but that's optional. And then just cook your pancakes until you see bubbles on top. You can add blueberries on top if you want. Flip 'em over once they're cooked through. Just repeat with the rest of your batter. I topped it with peanut butter, strawberries, and maple syrup.
