The 108-meter-long steel box foundation bridge is one of the largest steel box bridges in China. The bridge was built by Hyundai Engineering and Construction for $ 3.6 billion. Akashi Kaikyo is four times as tall as the Brooklyn Bridge in Japan.

At 23.875 miles, the longest crossing of Lake Pontchartrain is currently under construction, with two bridges connected by a fixed connection. At a distance of 10.24 miles, this bridge is the tallest in the world. A bridge is a viaduct, a type of bridge, that is, it crosses water, land, or valley and acts as a flyover.

Wuhan Metro Bridge constructs an entire Line 1 underground system in the center of the Chinese city of Wuhan. The Weinan Consecration Grand Bridge, built by China in 2008, is a 797-mile-long railway line that is part of the Zhengzhou-Xian high-speed railway connecting Zhengzhou to Xian. The Bang Expressway in Thailand was the 54 km trophy of the longest bridge in the world from 2000 to 2004 when it was elevated to an average length of 42 meters.

The 23-kilometer Manchac Swamp Bridge, one of the longest in the world, is built above water and is the longest in the US Interstate Highway System. It is also the longest bridge in the Interstate Highway System and the world's longest paid bridge with a total length of 3,669 kilometers. Danyang Kunshan Grand Bridge over high-speed China Beijing - Shanghai Railway is the second-longest bridge in the world.

It is one of the few bridges that has never been flooded. U Bein Bridge is a 12 km long bridge crossing Lake Taungthaman in Myanmar. The bridge is four times the size of the Brooklyn Bridge and is four feet [1,981 m] long.

The longest road bridge in the world, the Bang Na Expressway, is a high viaduct with an average length of 42 meters. One long wing extends to the south side and the other to the north. The largest bridge-building is the Runyan Bridge, which is part of the main Yangzhou-Liangyang highway.

With a length of 488 meters and a variation of the height of 218 meters, the bridge can transport up to 800 pedestrians at a time for maximum visibility. Akashi Kaikyo has 3,911 meters of the longest suspension bridge in the world.

The Changhua Kaohsiung Viaduct is the second-longest bridge in Taiwan and seven kilometers shorter than the Danyang Kunshan Grand Bridge. Wuhan Metro Line 1 is 3.8 km long and is the longest viaduct in the world. As part of the Beijing-Shanghai highway line, the world's longest bridge is located in Shanghai, Nanjing, Jiangsu province.

It was completed in 2010 and opened for trains in 2011. New York's Poughkeepsie Bridge was originally a 2,063-meter-long railway bridge, the longest pedestrian bridge in the world. In 2009 it was allowed to cross the Wuhan subway viaduct on foot. This highway has 6 lanes and crosses the National Highway Route 34. It is also the longest road bridge in China and holds the longest bridge record for four years before becoming the sixth bridge in the world.

Construction of the bridge was completed in 2008 and was awarded the title of the largest bridge in the world. It was reduced to other bridges being completed at the same time. Opened to the public in 2011, it received its title as the world's longest-running title in the Guinness Book of World Records that same year.

The largest bridge in Beijing is one of the newest bridges on the list and was completed in 2018. Number 10 on this list is located in China, a bridge designed for the passage of Line 1 passengers in Wuhan. The length of the bridge is 10,581 km and has 3,092 pipelines.

The Beijing Great Bridge is an integral part of the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Rail System, which connects both cities and provides a vital link to travel in China within five hours. It is part of a fast-moving line connecting Beijing and Shanghai with the Great Danyang Kunshan Bridge and the Great Tianjin Bridge.
