What is Rizzle? And how can content creators benefit from it!

Rizzle?? What is this new content creation platform? And how does it differ from mainstream sites like YouTube or TikTok?

First of all Rizzle has prompts to engage its users (aka topics of discussion for real people to think and talk about). Rizzle.tv promotes interaction and collaboration between creators as opposed to YouTube and TikTok which are much more competitive. How does Rizzle promote community? Responses! Rizzle actually has NO COMMENTS which at first seemed strange to me, but after months on this app I can say with confidence that it really encourages meaningful exchanges and less trolls which is fantastic for creators.

Rizzle VALUES smaller creators and empowers them to continue creating!

So far there have been two series of contests: 360 and RSeries! The 360 contest series is for the journalists. Pick a topic you are interested about reporting on, add interesting B-roll and join one of the 360 contests! I entered the 360Kickoff contest with my channel “Internet Insanity” and ended up placing and winning a cash prize! (and if I can do it so can YOU!)

Whereas the RSeries contest involves some popular television shows and puts your acting skills to the test! So far there have been contests recreating scenes from the shows Stranger Things, Brooklyn Nine Nine and FRIENDS. I actually came in first place in the Brooklyn Nine Nine contest (which is one of my favorite shows). Check out the future RSeries contests because they might just be recreating scenes from a show you are a super fan of!

HOW RIZZLE CHANGED MY LIFE: I never would have thought that I could make money with only a thousand followers, but online entertainment has always been something I dreamed about making a job. So many doors have opened with this app- it makes me feel like what I do is important. In fact I even had an article written about me which again I was not expecting but it was greatly appreciated and it makes me excited to continue creating! Also with the prompts it is easy to get out of a creative rut and just TALK. It is very reminiscent of "old school youtube" in that way- before the pressure was on to make every video a masterpiece. With Rizzle you can just create and get your wheels turning for more projects without having to take a hiatus!

For small content creators who dream of making this hobby into a career it is so important to jump onto new apps while they are just starting up. You never know which will take off and Rizzle is getting bigger and bigger every day. Think of all the Vine stars turned big youtubers expanding your network is a fantastic way to grow on any other platform! It isn't a replacement for YouTube, TikTok or any other content creation site you like it's just an exciting new addition!
