I almost didn’t do it.

I stared at the screen for what felt like hours, my finger hovering over the button. My heart pounded, my mind racing with a thousand reasons why I should wait.

What if no one cares? What if it fails? What if I embarrass myself?

The fear was loud, convincing, persistent. I had been here before—on the edge of something new, something uncertain. And every time, fear whispered the same thing: It won’t work.

So many times before, I had listened. I had backed away, convincing myself that I needed more time, more knowledge, more experience before I could take action.

But then, a different thought slipped in—one I had never really considered before.

I wish I could say that after that first moment, I never struggled with doubt again.

But the truth is, I still battle the fear of failure. The difference now is that I’ve learned to challenge it.

Every time my mind starts listing all the reasons why something won’t work, I force myself to consider the opposite.

Instead of allowing fear to control my actions, I let possibility have a voice. And that shift? It makes all the difference.
