Lost My Religion
It's safe to say I grew up in a religious Christian home. My family was more on the new age meets old testimate side of things, but my mom was raised religious and kept her faith strong. But now, as a budding Buddhist (not quite, but we're a work in progress). It's been interesting being on both sides of things.

A Sudden Breakthrough
The rain taps lightly against my small apartment window, as I look out onto the borough of Brooklyn, sipping my herbal tea. A gloomy day it was, and quite chilly, yet I’m happy that my plants are getting what they need. But I, on the other hand, was not; I needed inspiration for my story. Maybe the rain would wash away my brain fog; to bring forth clarity for the next day. Perhaps I should meditate or do some yoga to collect my creativity despite the weather; it’s only 11:11 am and I have more than enough time. Suddenly my highest self speaks.
