Analyzing Lilith
I haven’t visited my blog in a while. In fact, I’ve been off my writing game for weeks. Less than mediocre book sales and current events have been very depressing and distracting. It seems my creativity and my opinion do not operate well together and I won’t tarnish my blog with political opinion. This is all about writing.

In Defence of Vocal+
I joined Vocal+ for the Doomsday Diary challenge. Like many, I was disappointed when I didn't win. Like many, I have also been disappointed in subsequent challenges. Like many, there have been times that I probably could have been nicer, or at least less bitter, about those stories who did place over my own.

Natural Disasters in Fiction
When natural disasters show up in fiction at all, they tend to be the focus of the plot. So why bother thinking about them in a range of articles on worldbuilding? Well, because they do affect worldbuilding. They will affect how your characters view the world, the stories they tell, the houses they live in.

Note Entry (Note)
Recently I wrote a short story titled "Note Entry". The short story was written by combining small pieces of writing I did each day. Each day I picked a prompt from my Pinterest feed and wrote whatever came to my mind. Some days I only wrote a short paragraph, some days I ended up writing a couple of pages. My initial reason for starting this challenge was I noticed I was more productive throughout the day when I did a creative task first. Eventually, I thought it would be a cool idea to make all these small pieces of writing into one short story at the end of each week. Throughout this project, I learnt a lot about my creative process. So, I decided to share the extracts I wrote along with some notes I made to connect all the prompts and things I noticed about the writing process in general. I hope this can inspire more people to start writing and if you want to join in on this writing challenge, feel free to do so! I will be continuing my challenge so please look forward to seeing more chaotic stories that were based around 7 random prompts! I have added the link to the short story, Note Entry at the end of this post.

The Art of Fail
The stories of our endeavours will forever remain to adjudicate their own worth. As a member of Vocal Social Society, and a content creator on Vocal, I would like us all to take a moment, to just breath in the joy of sending our work out into the world, and a breath out to expel all the doubts that can begin to take root when we lose a challenge.

7 Reasons Your Writing Hasn't Gone Viral Yet
If you're like me, you've probably asked yourself the question at least once: Why hasn't my writing gone viral yet? A year and a half ago, I would've had no idea how to answer this question. I had just started in the freelance world, and although I had been writing personally for years, I was lost as to how to market it to an audience.

6 TIPS FOR CREATING YOUR CHARACTERS FOR NOVELS
It doesn’t matter if you use a character creation worksheet or jot down notes about them, creating a character takes time and patience. The characters in your novels are as complex as you and I. They can be imperfect and immoral. Or they can be saints and next to godliness. No matter which way they go on the compass of good and evil, flesh them out properly.

Series I'm Loving by Vocal Creators - Vol. 2
I promised I would turn my Series I'm Loving by Vocal Creators into ... well, a series. So this is Volume 2 of Series I'm Loving by Vocal Creators. Hopefully, I do the series on this list justice with my descriptions and provoke you to be as intrigued and captivated by them as I was. Although the list is shorter than last time, some have numerous episodes, so you'll have a good bit of reading to occupy you.
