Once upon a time, there was an old couple. Every day, the old man went to the bamboo forest to cut bamboo. At night, he went home to make bamboo baskets with the old woman. When the basket is made, it is sold in the market. They had no children and led a miserable life. One day, the old man went to the bamboo forest to cut bamboo as usual. Chopping, the old father-in-law found a glittering bamboo. The old man carefully cut the bamboo, did not think that there was a lovely baby girl lying in it, so the old man took the baby girl home. The old woman saw the baby girl and said happily, "We must give her a nice name." The old man said, "Since I found her in the bamboo forest, let's call her the Princess of the Bamboo Forest."
