What works for me cont.
(Re posted from my other blog site) Now, remember I was talking about a bag. Your purse is not going to cut it anymore. Depending on if you have an ileostomy bag or some other device you’re going to want to carry a bag, let’s face it your friends won’t be around all the time to carry your stuff. I have a cheap blue bag I got from the hospital that I carry my purse in as well as a blue folder with all my medical papers in it. I also use to carry when I was doing the port meds, my iPad, phone charger, and headphones. Not to mention drink, snacks (yes you can have the. In the chemo room, or mine did at least remember room temperature is your friend) I even put a coloring book, eye mask, and earplugs in case I got sleepy. I still carry my iPad for journaling at doctor’s appointments. Also, the perfume will be your best friend. I am a big believer in aromatherapy. Also, carry wash clothes. You might need powder don’t use talcum use all-natural antifungal for heat and sweat.

Being Diagnosed with Autism is the Best Thing That's Ever Happened to Me
Have you heard of Spoon Theory? It was created by Christine Miserandino in her essay “The Spoon Theory” in which her friend asks her what it’s like to have lupus. She writes “…that the difference in being sick and being healthy is having to make choices or to consciously think about things when the rest of the world doesn’t have to.” Miserandino collects the spoons from around the restaurant they’re in, hands them to her friend, and says, “You have lupus.”

How to Write a Rounded Character
Every story has two types of base characters. You’ll have your broad-chested hero running around in tight spandex and you’ll have your villain with his twirly mustache and long flowing cape. Unfortunately, most beginning (and some professional) writers portray these characters as flat as the paper they are being printed on.
