TikTok food trends are extremely profitable, and if you’ve not been jumping on these trends, you’re missing a trick. No, trends are not for everybody, but if you’re goal is to make money as a content creator, I’d recommend jumping on these trends and taking advantage of them.

The beauty of it is that you don’t have to create a TikTok page if you don’t want to, but I’d recommend TikTok and YouTube for this.

So, here are five TikTok food trends to make $50,000 or more in 2025:

Cucumber Salads

In 2024, TikTok and YouTube creator Logan (add his YouTube page) started uploading videos about delicious cucumber salads. This trend quickly caught on with his catchy phrase:

“ Sometimes you have to eat a whole cucumber”

Logan’s obsession with eating whole cucumbers has completely changed his life, and now, he has a clothing brand and more than 1 million followers on YouTube alone. He travels the world and documents his meals as he goes along.

Other creators have recreated his cucumber salads, and in 2025, you can also jump on the bandwagon. It’s not too late, and if you don’t want to jump on this specific trend, create your own healthy trend, such as tomato salads, bell pepper salads, or anything else that takes your fancy.

The truth is, you never know when you video or article will catch on and go viral. So, post, post, and post some more.

Loaded Hot Chocolate and Other Drinks

People are going crazy over loaded hot chocolate coffee drinks, and the trend is still taking over TikTok and YouTube. To build an audience with this, go ahead and recreate some of the most viral drinks and do a taste test. People love watching content like this, myself included.

Here are some examples of loaded hot chocolate videos for inspiration:

Slow Cooker Meals

I purchased a slow cooker about five years ago, and I haven't looked back since. I'm not surprised that slow cooker meals have gone viral in recent ears, and I don't think the trend is slowing down. For me, this is evergreen content because eating hearty meals is never going to go out of style. Also, slow cooker meals are great for busy people, and these days, we're all busy so slow cooker meals are great for food creators.

The truth is, you don't have to be a food creator to jump on any of these trends, add them to your content list and post them whenever you feel like posting. Sometimes niches stifle your creativity, that's why I'm such a big fan of documenting your life over focusing on one topic.

I've built several niche blogs over the years, and some are still running however, I'm not interested in a personal brand anymore, and my goal is to produce as much content as possible, anything that takes my fancy. As a multi-passionate creator, this works best for me, do whatever works best for you.

Out of all these trends, I love the slow cooker trend the most, and over the next few months, I'm going to recreate a ton of slow cooker meals for this page, my YouTube channel and other content platforms I'm working on right now.

Retro Meals

Retro recipes are all the rage right now. From prawn cocktail to meatloaf, this the perfect time to jump on this trend and start testing these recipe ideas. Create a whole YouTube channel about retro recipes or create a series, it's up to you. Either way, you'll build an audience fast with this type of content because people are already searching for it.

Homemade Pizzas

Who doesn't love a homemade pizza? It's fun activity to do with the kids, and it's a great way to reduce take-out food. It's also an excellent money-saver, because once you learn how to make homemade pizzas, you probably won't want to order Dominos or Pizza Hut again.

If you're looking to take your content business to the next level in 2025, I'd recommend jumping on these food trends. Monetize your content with recipe books, sponsored posts, brand deals, and platform partner programs.
