LOVE

From songs to books and movies, LOVE is one of the most enduring subjects for artworks through the ages. Just the thought of LOVE scares me, makes me view things differently and understand things differently.

LOVE makes you do things you wouldn’t do.

LOVE brings you inner peace.

LOVE makes you feel alive.

LOVE is laughter.

LOVE makes you belief.

LOVE is wild and at the same time free.

LOVE makes you young and happy.

We all give and receive love in 5 different ways: words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch. These are called 'love languages', helps us love and receive love based on preferences. The word LOVE can sound soo empty and subtle at times but it does have an epic meaning that is beyond words.

It is funny to think that a movie will enlighten and broaden my knowledge about LOVE. I always felt when someone does some certain things you tend to LOVE the person, but then I realized that you get to LOVE someone you choose. Yes, LOVE gives you the opportunity to choose and make decisions. Fun fact, it can be anything you choose and want it to be.

I just could not get why the the Bible made a lot of emphasis on the word LOVE growing up, but now I am getting a clear meaning and understanding to what the word means. The Bible also helps us to understand and see it differently from what we are commonly told. According to 1 Corinthians 13:4-5: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. This is God’s definition of LOVE.

LOVE is a language that can be communicated even without you speaking, LOVE definitely has to be the strongest tool. When we love someone we experience the same positive thoughts and experiences as when we like a person. But we also experience a deep sense of care and commitment towards that person.

LOVE can make you endure pain. It can make you do things that will hurt you. You get to make decisions that will cause a lot and hurt you. With LOVE, you make decisions for LOVE. But in spite of all this, LOVE would never neglect you. It will always be present, helping you endure the pain and going with you every step of the way.

At times it might feel like you are alone even when you are surrounded by people that LOVES you. I guess you have just been loving wrongly. LOVE can be complicated I assure you, but you need to look for your inner peace, you need to select those you choose to LOVE, only that way can you LOVE truly and can it be meaningful to you. You deserve someone who does not only make you feel better, but makes you want to be better. When you filter your circle to only people you value, you tend to always feel alive because only this set of people see you for you and definitely appreciate your LOVE. Your LOVE should always be appreciated.

LOVE is having someone to share your laughter and pain with. LOVE is always present. It makes room for you, it makes time for you. It puts in efforts and goes an extra mile to see you happy.

Your LOVE shouldn’t be given out anyhow hence it will be taken for granted and later on become invalid to people. You deserve to be treated like a choice, not an option.
