Heat
Talking about heat. Inflammation is a source of heat in my joints. Diagnosed with arthritis, you may feel heat or warmth. Not uncommon but could be overlooked. Heat. We cook with heat on the stove, oven and so on. Now the song "The Heat is on" is popular. Heat was referred to as cops back in my day. Heat can be uncomfortable for some while others relish heat like equator vacationers. Laying out in the sunshine to get tanned. After the heat is felt off the skin. This can and does cause discomfort for most. Saunas are little hot boxes that a lot of folks like to sit in. Seems like an oven to me, just saying. A heater causes rooms to become warm. I guess this is just a useless take on heat. Personally I prefer controlled heat, not so much at a time. For my inflamed joints, this is all the time. Treating the inflammation with medications is one way in which I currently manage the discomfort. Painkillers too are utilized. Although it's been said to change diet and try different methods of resolution. Resolutions offered by archived library books in hidden internet indexes and hard to find locations. YouTube also appears to be a big source of alternative methods to reduce inflammation. The problem as I see it, only your body can indicate what works or not. It's scary to think that the prescribed drugs ate more readily available than the books our elders or foreparents had created by trial and error. The streamers of helpful ways to combat health illnesses are going by the wayside because it's not science or fact-based alternatives. Sad, very sad to see this going by the wayside. In some instances the video channel will ask for endorsements, subscriptions, likes, comments, and even tips. Geeze, just writing this feels like I'm releasing some heated discomfort. Maybe I should just write when I'm feeling like I'm in a state of discomfort. If this is true, and by the end of this chapter maybe I should figure out the best way to stream this, or present this in a way to earn some money. I mean, so many folks are generating a lot of money, and influence why not. Ah, let me explain why not. Sometimes you need to give back in order to justify the means. A means to an end of old ways. Maybe, just maybe someone might stumble upon a run on chapter like this and say” writing to address symptoms may be one part of a larger process”. One branch on the Tree Of Life. The Tree of Life after all does have many branches. One branch with many stems for many leaves of knowledge to sprout. Or maybe the writing is a subconscious aspect of triggering healing by putting pain to words rather than a number. Let me reflect on this. Go to the doctors with chronic hip pain and see what happens. If nothing has changed you circle a picture where the pain is, and leave a comment, a number from 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest. The psychological test is usually the first page. That can be very off putting and break your current state of pain yet triggering some past traumatic event you buried. Now you're on a psychological pain scale. At least that's what some may feel when filling out the papers. Now, the problem I can relate to is fight or flight as most do. Do I fight the pain or run away in my thoughts. While you're heavily engaged in this thought pattern the door opens and in comes the Dr.
Surprise! What hurts? Yup. Sidetracked again. You explain to the Dr.about your hip and he asks to go through some movements. Your face is already red from the paper reposits, but you give it your best. Medd get prescribed, follow up, maybe a referral, x-rays, ultrasound, and mri. Or maybe you were not at the pain scale the Dr. expected.
Are you feeling the heat again, as you leave the Dr.s office. Your face is warm and you think a headache is coming on. Yup. Lots I'm sure have been in a situation like this. Fear not the prescription was filled and all is well for another month. Folks heat is not always a good thing. Inflammation is a horrible autoimmune disease. Right now I'm feeling heat in my air-conditioned living room. My face is warm, and could be because I'm contemplating whether or not to submit this chapter to Vocal Media.
