What is Vocal Media?

Vocal Media is a platform that allows writers to make money by publishing articles. With Vocal Media, you can make money based on the number of views you get, without having to worry about the sources or demographics of your traffic. As a vocal writer, I have planned to publish over 1000 articles by the end of 2023. Vocal is a great way to make money through writing; I love the platform.

How does Vocal Media pay?

Vocal does not have a paywall; instead, it offers higher CPMs to those who join the vocal + subscription, which cost $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year. If you don’t want to pay for a subscription, you can write consistently for two months on vocal media, and once you are making $10 a month, you can invest in a vocal + subscription.

To make $ 500 a month writing on vocal media, you only need 90,000 views, or 3,000 views a day. This is achievable if you write consistently. Vocal Media is owned by Jerrick Media, a public limited company that has invested heavily in publishing.

You can make money on Vocal Media by publishing articles and getting more views. You can connect your stripe account to your vocal media account and earn money through your writing. There are five ways to make money on vocal media.

1. More Reads: The more reads you get, the more money you will make. Keep in mind that a “view” does not equal a “read”. A read is counted only if the reader reaches the end of the article. For 1,000 reads, vocal pays $3.8 for a normal creator and $6 for a Vocal + subscriber.

2. Tips: You can earn money through tips from readers who find your article helpful. I have received three tips so far, totaling $22. If you write consistently, you can earn over $100 through tips.

3. Challenges: Participating in Vocal challenges is one of the best ways to make money in less time. If your article is well-researched and selected as one of the top three, you will be paid accordingly.

4. Embedding blog links or YouTube videos: you can add links to your blog post or YouTube videos in your Vocal articles to make money from those sources.

5. Affiliate links: you can add an affiliate link to your vocal articles and earn money if someone buys through those links.

vocal+ membership, in my opinion, is worth it. As a Vocal+ subscriber, I have benefited in several ways, including making $6 per 1,000 reads compared to $3.8 for non-Vocal+ creators and paying only 2% service charges on tips compared to 6% for non-local members.

Why do you need to buy a Vocal+ subscription or membership?

Vocal+ membership, for me, is definitely worth it. I will share my experience as a Vocal+ subscriber, and if you find it good for yourself, you might opt-in for Vocal+ membership.

Some benefits of being a Vocal+ member are:

* You make $6 per 1,000 reads compared to $3.8 as a non-Vocal+ creator.

* You have to pay 2% of services charges on Tips compared to 6% on non-Vocal members.

* You, being a Vocal+ creator, can take part in Vocal challenges.

Let's say two creators, each having 10K reads a month; one of the creators is in Vocal+ membership while the other is not in Vocal+, let's check out the earnings of both creators.

* The creator in the Vocal+ will make $60 with those 10K reads. But, you have to buy a Vocal+ membership for $9.99 so that means net money of $50

* The creator that isn't in the Vocal+ will make $38.

The winner is the one who is in the Vocal+ membership as with the same number of reads, he is getting $12 more. This difference increases as the Vocal creator gets more reads. Also, investing money into something will make you more productive and you may end up writing more articles on Vocal. Being in the Vocal+ membership shows that you are serious about writing on the platform. They will also introduce more features that will only be available to the Vocal+ creators.
