How Far Are You Willing To Go?
Do You Truly Understand The Price To Pay?

We live in an era with Extreme Levels of Comparison Syndrome.
Most aspects of our lives become a Comparison Game between ourselves and someone or something else.
Whether we are comparing ourselves to the Jones next door, our old acquaintance from school on social media, or famous actors and athletes.
It seems that almost anywhere we turn, we are faced with comparing ourselves to something or someone else (even if often those people or things are False Idols with False Successes).
The first thing we need to Realize is that you don't "have" to Compare yourself.
Companies, Influencers, and even our Egos will push all of us into that Comparison Game, that is true.
However, we do have the Ability and Capability to Ignore it.
If you understand that, then you gain the Power to make Intentional Choices about what you may want to Grow Toward.
But before you choose - How far are you willing to go toward that?
I encourage you to REALLY think about it.
The Reality is that most of the things people "say" they want requires a LOT more than they Realize!
For instance, let's take the Goal of more Muscle.
Do you know what that TRULY takes to Achieve?
According to estimates, it requires 3500 calories OVER maintenance calories to gain 1 lb. of Muscle.
The average person's "maintenance" intake is 2000 - 2500 calories per day.
That means you might need to eat over 3000 "clean" calories daily, consistently (no processed foods, etc.), to gain 1 lb. of Muscle.
But it doesn't stop there because, typically, "maintenance" also increases as you build more muscle.
So, say you want to look like a Body Builder (which at "competition" is technically unhealthy and unsustainable)...
You may need to consistently be eating closer to 5000+ clean calories daily, consistently, to build that level of muscle.
Are you willing to eat that much?
Not to mention the high levels of hourly workouts you must also do daily!
It's alright to say that you're not willing to do that, but realize that is the Reality of trying to look like that!
Or what if you want to build a Business?
So many people think that you can get away with working a couple of hours, 5 days a week and become a multi-millionaire.
The Reality is that isn't true.
If you're planning to go it alone, you're more likely going to need to work 10+ hours daily and make sure you're doing the RIGHT work.
Part of the reason most Entrepreneurs fail is that they spend 90% of their time on all of the WRONG work.
That means even if they are working 12+ hours EVERY day, LESS than 2 hours is toward the RIGHT work.
Are you willing to put in that kind of work to hit 10 hours of the RIGHT work?
Are you open to figuring out how to stand out from the crowd?
Will you do the work Consistently to continue to Grow?
Another dark secret of Entrepreneurship is that sometimes individuals "do" make great money "fairly" quickly (a year or two perhaps), but can they sustain that?
For most Entrepreneurs, the answer is that they are NOT able to sustain that Success and their Fall is faster than their supposedly "Meteoric Rise".
Most Entrepreneurs Completely Fail in their first 5 years, including most of the "multi-millionaires" that you may have seen (assuming they weren't lying, which unfortunately is a large portion of Marketers you see online).
Are you willing to put in Extreme Hours into developing your Product or Service?
Will you stand back up after facing Extreme Rejection?
Can you ignore the Siren Calls of all the Marketers who claim you "MUST" do this other thing that will be the "next big thing" that you've never heard of?
It's ok to say no to any of these.
The Reality is that the Price of Extreme Success in anything is Extreme, you can't avoid that.
It's alright to not seek out those Extreme Levels as well.
Whatever Level you want to get to in any part of your Life, just try to understand the Reality of what it looks like to get there.
Know that the more Extreme you Aim for, the more Extreme your Dedication must be.
Anything less will simply be like building a house of cards, ready to collapse at the slightest of disturbances.

The bit about entrepreneurship and what it takes... so true and yet even if willing, surely this amount of work, undertaken alone, will result in burnout for most people?
