How can I check in with my nervous system?
This June week, we are caring and learning how to love ourselves.

How can I check in with my nervous system?
Check out find patience and compassion for yourself this June to figure out what your goals are for this week to complete, and if they are the same. Don’t worry! Don’t stress! Try again. It's okay to have the same goals as the week before. Life is a rollercoaster. It's not supposed to be the same everyday or go according to plan. Here are some deeper questions to ask yourself.
But first, remember our affirmation for this month.
Affirmation:
I can be kind to myself.
I can be patient with myself.
I can give myself compassion
I can understand that I am a divine human
I can love me.
I can learn to understand the parts of me that are difficult.
I can learn to shape my habits the way I need it.
I can provide support to myself.
I can provide strength to myself during the hard days.
I can love me.
Deeper dive into compassion for yourself, because knowing what our week goal is, the same as last week. We can take this moment to learn how to be kind to ourselves while trying to achieve the goals we set last week.
What do I need this week to support myself better?
An example of this would be: I need to have one task to focus on and break it up into small parts to achieve it.
How can I support myself?
An example of this would be: I can write down right now what that goal is and what small parts to do during the week to complete it.
How can I reward myself by supporting myself?
An example of this would be: I can award myself by completing the task above for myself, and also go try out that new restaurant in town as a physical award.
What are 3 ways I can be kinder to myself this week?
1. Feel the emotions as they arise.
2. Check in with myself throughout the day.
3. Do self-care acts for myself.
How do I complete these kind acts for myself during the week?
1. I can tell myself:
I am having big feelings right now. I will take a moment to focus on my breath, calm my mind, and heart rate. I am not my feelings, and they will go away soon. I am doing great! Keep going.
2. An example of this would be:
Have I provided my body with the nutrition it needs?
Have I provided my body with the water intake it needs?
Am I checking in with my breathing?
3. An example of this would be taking a hot bath or shower. Taking time to prepare a good meal for yourself. Have a quiet time to yourself.
Deeper dive into patience for yourself. There is a powerful saying out there about how you treat yourself is the way you treat those around you. The loved ones and the strangers. So let's tune into ourselves.
How did I speak to myself last week?
I was not kind to myself because I allowed my feelings to take up space and did not take moments to reconnect to my breath.
Is there a way I can be nicer to myself?
Yes, speak the affirmation above to myself during times of distress while reconnecting to the breath.
What words do I use toward myself in the heat of a moment?
1. I am falling behind.
2. I am failing myself and my family.
3. I am a problem.
How can I switch those words to a more positive word toward myself?
1. You’re okay
2. You’re doing great
3. You’re a beast! You got this!
