Here's What I Earned in 5 Days with a Brand-New Google News Page - Even After I Stopped Posting

I recently launched a new Google News page and published just four articles so far - two on day one, two on day two - and then I paused.

Life threw me a curveball, and I had to leave town to handle some urgent personal stuff. I made a clear decision to rest and not publish anything while I was away.

Still, I was curious to see how the existing content would perform without any new uploads or extra promotion.

As of this morning, I've made $27.35 in total.

That's just $1.55 more than where I left off three days ago - not huge, but it shows that content can continue working for you even when you're not actively posting.

I've had big months on my main Medium page (think $7,000+), but earnings have dipped recently, and I've realized that staying consistent - while adapting - is essential. You have to understand what's working now and deliver real value.

Some people chase the "starving artist" image, but for me? I'd rather be a well-paid creator with freedom and options. That's the version of authenticity I'm after
