When I think of Tupperware I remember colors like orange, yellow and green being the main colors, hard plastic that could cause some damage if thrown at someone and usually did in my family, and I remember my mom having Tupperware parties when I was a child with her shoeing us out of the house to play. That was in the 70's and 80's well, this is definitely not my mothers Tupperware.

I was looking for better, cost efficient solutions to making my kitchen better. I wanted to start cooking more and eating out less so I could lose some weight but when I cook, I tend to cook for a army. In order to cook I needed better options for left-overs and freezer options. I was scrolling on Facebook one day and I saw a Tupperware page! I was in shock! I honestly thought that Tupperware was not in business anymore. No one I know still buys it or even talks about it unless they are talking about a piece they have from some great aunt Gertrude. I was constantly on the look out for it when I went to yard sales but never found it so I really did think it was gone for good.

Rhonda was great when I contacted her that day. I immediately messaged Rhonda and asked her if they really did still sell it and how I could start selling it because I didn't know anyone that did in my area. Everyone I knew was into Pampered Chef, Avon, Herbalife, or some other MLM and I just didn't want in on the bandwagon. Rhonda just giggled a little and said "Yes, we are still around, I've been selling Tupperware for 30+years." She then told me she was in Arizona but she had consultants on her team all over the US and would be glad to help me. I started my business right then, well, almost. I got the ball started at least and she sent me some material in the mail to start off with and a couple of weeks later I ordered my kit and officially started my business. By then, my online business was going already.

I'm starting small and I'm not in any rush. I'd love to have a huge team like Rhonda and the others and move up in the company but it's not my vision when I see myself working. I'm currently in school for an Associates Degree as Medical Office and Billing Specialist and that is what I see myself doing as a full time job but I can see myself doing this on the side as extra income and just for fun. It's great to meet new people and it is fun to get together with these ladies each week. I'm learning a lot and I can hopefully teach a few things too.
