Build a Digital Product Empire With Gemini AI and Nano Banana

This guide dives into how to leverage the power of Google’s Gemini AI and Nano Banana image generator to create high value low-ticket products.

You can sell eBooks and other digital products on platforms like Amazon Kindle, Gumroad, Etsy, or via your own website. You can even use them as lead magnets to grow your subscribers.

But eBooks are just the beginning. You can also create basic apps, quizzes, and all types of interactive content via Gemini AI.

From Zero to eBook in a Few Steps

This article presents an intermediate-level strategy to using the Gemini AI assistant. If you’re an absolute beginner to AI tools, you may want to start with my entry-level tutorials for Gemini AI and Nano Banana respectively.

Using AI to create digital products you can sell needs to be done well, but once you understand the process, it’s incredibly fast and rewarding.

I used Gemini AI and Google Vids (which gives you access to Nano Banana) along with Google Docs to assemble the final product. I used a Pro Google Workspace account, but most steps are achievable with the free version of Gemini via a free Google Account.

Why Google Workspace?

Google’s Workspace is a powerhouse suite of tools for business owners. If you’re serious about building an online presence, it’s worth exploring. The good news is you can test out the free version as much as you want before investing in a Pro subscription.

Step 1: Research with Gemini’s Deep Research Tool

The first step is research. For this tutorial, we’re assuming you already have a topic in mind. We’ll be using Gemini’s Deep Research tool to compile the latest and greatest information with this type of prompt:

Compile all the latest and best information about how to go viral, grow and sell products, or make money on TikTok.

Remember, information older than 14 months can be outdated, so prioritize recent success stories. In this example, the topic is TikTok organic content marketing.

The Deep Research tool requires two steps: entering your prompt and confirming the research plan. The duration of the research depends on the topic’s scope. Once complete, the report is exported to Google Docs for easier editing.

Step 2: Refine and Rewrite with Gemini in Google Docs

The initial report can be dense. That’s where Gemini’s “Help me Write” function in Google Docs comes in. You can rewrite selected text or the entire document to make it more engaging.

Alternatively, you can use Gemini’s Canvas tool. Add the Google Doc to Canvas as a source and try the following prompt:

Turn the information in the source document into an engaging 2000–4000 word ebook at a 6th grade reading level, with step-by-step lists.

This emphasizes easy readability and implementation.

Step 3: Polish and Personalize

AI is a powerful tool, but it’s not a magic bullet. Reviewing and editing are crucial to ensure the content aligns with your brand, and shares the right information your customers need.

I often use Google Docs’ “listen to this tab” feature to hear the document read aloud, making editing easier.

Step 4: Create a Cover with Google Vids and Nano Banana

Open a new Google Vids project, select your preferred video shape, and choose to start with a Blank Vid.

Now, use the Images tool in Vids to access Nano Banana and generate an eye-catching cover with a prompt like this:

Create an eye-catching retro-themed cover for a book called ‘The TikTok Warp Key’.

You may find it easier to start using Nano Banana in the Gemini app to generate the image, then bring that image over into Vids to remove the watermark.

When you’re satisfied, paste the image into your Google Doc title page and download the document as a PDF.

Step 5: Level Up with Designrr (Optional)

While Google Docs creates a serviceable eBook, a dedicated software like Designrr can create really high-quality, visually appealing PDFs just as fast.
