"Born in Israel-Palestine: A Unique Perspective on Conflict and the Quest for Peace"
"Insights from a Palestinian Israeli on Living Through Conflict and Embracing Peace"

Today I'm going to share my unique perspective on the issue of Israel-Palestine without any filters and I hope you'll read until the end. I was born in 1992 in the most controversial place on Earth Israel;to a Palestinian family. It's important to note that 20% of Israel is not Jewish and is made up of people like me - Muslim, Arab, Palestinian for generations but born under the Israeli government with an Israeli identity and passport.
Sometimes, I wish I was born in a place like Denmark with blonde hair and blue eyes but I wasn't. My controversial background has helped me see things that not many people can see. For instance, I've experienced what Palestinians go through. I've been called a terrorist by a 15-year-old Jewish girl, almost attacked by an Israeli soldier and stuck at checkpoints for hours. At the same time, I've also witnessed what Israelis go through. I've seen rockets fall on Israel, hid in a bomb shelter with Israeli friends, and saw Jews afraid for their life. I also witnessed my Palestinian friend losing his innocent cousin from an Israeli airstrike and my Israeli friend losing his brother from a Palestinian who stabbed him in the back.
Outside of the conflict, I've seen Palestinians living in refugee camps just because they're Palestinians, while Jews are kicked out of the Middle East just because they're Jewish. What's in common with everything I've seen? Suffering, pain, anger - they exist on both sides. No one can deny that. Sadly, many people want to see Israel disappear, but I don't. In my view, Israel should exist because there are good people residing within its borders. I also believe Palestine should exist because it has good people inside of it. That's why I think it's not one or the other.
I dislike it when people keep saying it's one country, and it's a stupid argument. Israel and Palestine are not a game where people get to pick sides and cheer on them from a distance. For me, it's life and death.Without Israel, my family's safety and existence would be threatened. Similarly, without Palestine, my people's survival and identity would be at risk. That's why we need two independent countries for two people living side by side in peace, with no one dying from an airstrike or a knife attack. It's our job to push for a solution that stops the suffering that has been going on for 74 years non-stop. My proposal is straightforward: unite people rather than divide them. This is why we make these videos and support the many Israelis who want peace and the Palestinians who need peace.
In my company, we've hired six Palestinians and three Israelis. We've invested in real estate in Palestine and tech companies in Israel. This video is not about me or about Israel or Palestine. It's about every conflict in the world. Extremists on both sides will force you to join them and be them, but you are not them. You're not an extremist who wants to keep the suffering alive. You and I just want a solution. Instead of siding with the extremists, befriend an enemy. You'll see what I've seen for 30 years - that they want the same things you do. They want a home, a job, a family, and, above all, they just want to live.
One of the saddest things I've ever seen was a 12-year-old kid from one of the two countries. This 12-year-old kid's story is a perfect example of how extremism can spread. It starts with the desire for peace, but the people around you can influence your beliefs and push you towards extremism. That's why we need to work harder to create an environment of understanding and peace. We need to start by educating ourselves and learning about the history of the conflict. We need to be open to hearing different perspectives and not just rely on the narratives we've been told. We need to have empathy for both sides and recognize that there are good people on both sides who want peace. And most importantly, we need to be willing to take action and push for a solution. It may not be easy, but it's necessary if we want to end the suffering and create a better future for both Israelis and Palestinians.
So, I ask all of you to join me in this journey towards understanding and peace. It's not just about Israel and Palestine, it's about every conflict in the world. It's about creating a world where everyone has a home, a job, and a family, and above all, the ability to live in peace. So let's start by befriending our enemies and seeing the world through their eyes. Let's work together to find a solution that brings an end to the suffering. Let's be the generation that finally brings peace to this land.
