Dear Past Me,
I know right now you could be feeling a mix of excitement, fear, and maybe some doubt.
You are figuring out your identity, looking for your position in the world, and thinking ahead.
I have the evidence to support having gone through all.
Advice that might have eased some suffering, streamlined my path, and increased your happiness.
First, inhale deeply, and then discover your peace.
Challenges will indeed present themselves, and occasionally you could find yourself considering giving up.
But avoid doing so.
You can manage this, and you have more strength than you know.
Tears and a feeling of being lost and alone late evenings will finally fade into a far memory.
Though right now it could seem incredible, believe me—you will look back on those years and find happiness in them in the future.
You will come to see that these were only passing events in the larger scheme of your life.
Among the most important messages I want to get over is the need to treat yourself with compassion.
Making errors is quite acceptable.
It is not only normal but also really necessary.
Mistakes are bound to happen in life and will expose more about your character than any success could possibly do.
Instead, consider the opportunity to grow from them and see them as a road map.
Remember that your mistakes define not who you are; rather, it is your reaction to them that determines you.
I would want to stress the need for running some chances.
Although leaving your comfort zone can be intimidating, the real magic happens there.
Accept the chance to travel to far-off locations, investigate novel events, and get to know many people.
Your experiences will help you to shape the person you are meant to be and give you direction and meaning.
Let your fear not control you; you are capable of far more than you could ever imagine.
And while we are talking about fear, let me say that it is quite normal to be afraid.
Feelings of uncertainty and concern about the future are quite natural.
But let that anxiety not paralyse you.
Rather, let it inspire you to keep pushing ahead.
Remember that the most important benefits usually lie just beyond your comfort zone; the only way to get to them is to face your anxiety head-on.
Right now, you most certainly have relationships on your mind.
You might be thinking about the identities of your future pals, the person you will love, and those who will be by your side through the ups and downs of life.
Whichever the situation, the people meant to be on your path will always find a way to be present.
Try not to obsess too much on finding the "ideal" friends or mate; they will come into your life at the right time.
Focus on building close relationships with the people here; everything else will fit quite naturally.
Remember to give your physical and mental health top priority.
It's common to lose sight of your own health amidst the daily routine.
Whether it's reading a book, going for a walk, or doing yoga, set aside time for self-care.
Your biggest asset is your health, which merits your time and money.
When needed, whether from a therapist, a doctor, a trusted friend, or a relative, it's crucial to ask for help.
I exhort you to stay real to who you are as you negotiate the highs and lows of life.
One often gets caught up in the expectations of others about your behaviour or identity.
Still, you should not let that guide your decisions.
Stay real, keep integrity, and follow your hobbies and values.
What really distinguishes and makes you distinct are your own qualities.
Instead of trying to live up to someone else's expectations, design your own path and adventure.
Appreciate the little moments.
Although one might easily concentrate on the big picture, don't forget to enjoy the small moments.
See the sunset, feel the beach underfoot, and taste your favourite food.
These elements really improve our quality of life; however, they often go overlooked among the daily grind.
Stop to appreciate the beauty all around you and enjoy the travel experience.
I want to underline in closing this message to you that you are not alone.
You have a lifetime of experiences waiting for you; you can shape them into anything you want.
Accept the bravery of a huge dream and follow what excites you.
You are capable of everything you choose, and I have no doubt that you will totally welcome the amazing journey.
With love and support,
Your Future Self.
