If you need extra money but don't have the time to pick up a second job, please continue reading this article for more information. Your employment status may have changed due to the pandemic, whether your hours have been reduced or you've experienced a layoff. You may be looking for alternative ways to generate some income. If you're skeptical about making money online, don't worry, because the research has already been done. There are real ways to make money online. This article will chart the methods I use to make money online. The opportunities mentioned in this article can help you supplement your current income or put some bucks in the bank if you have no income at all. If you have just a few hours to spare each day, you can utilize your computer, or any device with internet access to make money online.

1. Amazon MTurk

MTurk was created in 2005 by the American online business and cloud computing company, Amazon. MTurk is a worker-on-demand marketplace which allows various companies to outsource micro tasks that require human intelligence to complete. MTurk workers complete micro tasks, also known as HITs, in return for payment. Available tasks include data extraction, surveys, transcription, voice recordings and more. Bonuses are also offered by requestors for some of their HITs. If you're a transcriptionist, you have an opportunity to qualify for higher paying tasks. My discovery of MTurk started in 2020 where I have been completing micro tasks since for payment. I can attest to the legitmacy of MTurk and below is a screenshot of my earnings for May and June 2021. I was working a bare minimum on tasks every few days. Of course, this is not meant to replace your current job, but you can supplement or add to your existing income.

2. Product Tube

Product Tube is a consumer research firm that pays consumers to complete short tasks on video. Depending on the task, videos can be shot on your mobile phone, at home or in store- mostly in store. If you're apprehensive about being on camera, don't worry, not all tasks require you to appear on camera. The video upload requirement ranges from two to five minutes in length. Product Tube is mainly looking for your shopping experience. Payment is made through Amazon gift cards, usually within a few days of completing the assignment. They may provide other payout options in the future; only time will tell. To start completing tasks for Product Tube, you can register here- it's completely free.

3.Task Rabbit

TaskRabbit is an online and mobile market task-based service app that operates in the U.S. It matches freelance labor with local demand, allowing consumers to find immediate help with everyday tasks, including cleaning, moving, delivery and handyman jobs. It connects users, called Taskers, to paying gigs. Taskers are paid an hourly rate, minus a service fee. There’s also a possibility of tips, 100% of which go to the Tasker. As a Tasker, you can get paid to do what you love, when and where you want.

4. Slice The Pie

Slice the Pie was founded in 2006 by David Courtier-Dutton and officially launched in 2007. The name is not to be taken literally. There's no pie you'll need to slice, but you can get a slice of the pie by providing feedback to help independent artists, music executives, designers, buyers, and merchandisers for different companies. In turn, Slice the Pie delivers full reports that are created directly from live consumer feedback. The more insightful the review is, the more payout you can earn. Sign up is a simple and you can start writing reviews immediately. There are no registration fees to join and it's open to everyone. The amount of money to be made is dependent upon how insightful and thorough the review is. If you enjoy listening to new music or have an eye for fashion and want to earn money while providing valuable feedback

5. Fiverr

Fiverr is a virtual marketplace for freelancers. It gives freelancers the opportunity to showcase their talents and earn from them. Freelancers can charge for their services, starting at $5 a gig. Fiverr matches sellers to buyers looking for on-demand assistance in a variety of different skill sets. Fiverr works by allowing buyers to pay in advance for products and/or services in areas such as the following:

  • Writing/Editing
  • Graphic design
  • Transcription
  • Language translation services
  • Programming and technology
  • Video creation

Disclaimer: These opportunities are not suggested to replace your primary income. They can, however, supplement your income.
