Loach has high nutritional and medicinal value. Its vitamin B1 content is 3-4 times higher than that of other fish and shrimp. Loach is highly sought after in Hangzhou and Guangdong and popular in Japan and South Korea.

At present, the price of live loach is 16 yuan to 20 yuan per kilogram. If the water area can produce 50 kilograms of loach, it is equivalent to the economic value of 1,700 kilograms of wheat per mu or 500 kilograms of rice.

At the same time, loach has extremely strong vitality, in addition to gill breathing, the gut can also assist breathing, and water oxygen can immediately jump out of the water to breathe. Loach also has a strong ability to adapt, ponds, ditches, lakes, rivers, reservoirs, rice fields, and other freshwater waters, can be bred and reproduced.

Jiang said that loach breeding is a fast breeding project, with less investment, large income, quick effect, and small risk. The net profit of one mu of land is about 20,000 yuan.

"Now that the technology is more mature, I am mainly exploring more sales. Once the sales network is established, the following things will be easier to do." Jiang Lin said.

He also said that he would sell the loach seedlings at a low price to nearby villagers, that he mainly looked for sales channels to help villagers sell them, and that he could help them solve problems when farming.
