I always loved learning about things that are bizarre or interesting and I have across some pretty good stuff. Like for instance, the world's most expensive things made of real gold.

So I compiled a short list of 'Ordinary things that are made of gold' that I want to share with you guys and gossip about. I promise you it contains some bizarre things that are going to blow your mind.

4 Gold Staples.

Yes, these gold plates staples that you see in the picture are made of real gold- 14-carat gold to be exact. You can buy a set of 24 of these gold staples for $79.

Originally these gold pins were designed as a form of jewellery so they can be applied to any form of clothing to spice up a boring corporate environment. Or according to their page-

"Of courseou can also impress your boss by turning in your next report decked out in gold. He will feel you."

Yeah, I don't know what to feel about this...😐😑😬

Oh did I mention that you can just use any regular stapler to staple them? I was shocked a gold stapler wasn't required to staple these! 😂

The funny thing I find about them is that they aren't made by any fashion or jewellery companies but rather designed by a knife-making brand called Oooms. Oooms specialises in handcrafting kitchen knives. I must say they're really famous and have some impressive premium hand-crafted knives on their website.

3 Gold Pills

This is probably the most useless, ridiculous product on this list in my opinion. Capsules dipped in gold and filled with 24-karat gold leaf.

You will get a set of 3 pills for $435 per order. Only $435, rich people probably say 🥲

They igned by Just Another Rich Kid in collaboration with Tobias Wong for their 'INDULGENCES' collection in 2005. Surprisingly they are still available to purchase on their website to this day. Only 4 products are available (so if you fancy one, get yours quickly 😜). I doubt they will be sold out any time soon.

Here's a quote from their gold pills product page:

"Analogous to our culture's obsession with luxury and consumption, these 24K gold leaf capsules turn your innermost parts into chambers of wealth. Consume and digest"

Ah what has the world come to?..🥲

2 Vacuum Cleaner

Did you think it couldn't get any more ridiculous? Well, it does. A 24-carat gold-plated vacuum cleaner worth $1 million. 😂 According to Business Insider, 100 of these were produced by GoVacuum. Seriously this is wrong on so many levels!

Although it's fully functional, I don't think anyone would actually buy them to vacuum. The only people that would buy them would be those who like to collect rare things or maybe to brag about it to their friends and family. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information on anyone ever buying them or their official website.

1 Toilet Paper

This 24-carat gold toilet paper roll was sold for a whopping 1.5 million dollars! And someone actually bought it. It was made by an Australian company called Toilet Paper Man. It was personally delivered with a complimentary bottle of champagne.

"As you use the toilet paper 24 carat gold flakes will fall onto the floor and your behind taking you to another level of sophistication."

I'm dying to know what you guys are thinking after reading this. Would you buy any of them if you had all the wealth? Which product is the most absurd for you?
