(Sleigh bell intro with instrumental beat of Chorus.)

December, December, oh December why have you forgotten me.

I promise I have been a good this year even all the times I didn't want to be. So why? Oh, why me?

When your born in December people tend not to remember,

So hopefully this song helps and you don't get jipped because of the arrival of Saint Nic.

'Tis the season they all greet and joyfully say.

But every year when the holidays are near, they always seem to forget My Birthday! (I blame it on the eggnog...)

This year 2025 is different; I can feel in the wintery crisp morning air.

Us December babies this season just want to be recognized, celebrated, and party with you too!

Ohhhhh pretty, pretty, pretty please don't forget my December Birthday, Ohhh pretty, pretty please don't forget me this year I am counting on you!

Please don't forget my special date and of course don't run late...So listen and trust we believe in you!

Well actually if I am speaking on behalf of us December Babies...

Here's a list of what NOT TO DO:

1. Please don't send me a Christmas card for my birthday card.

2. Don't wrap all my gifts in Holiday wrapping paper too!

3. Don't forget and try to make up at Christmas and have one gift count as two.

4. Just remember us is all we really want. It's the little things that count anyway.

And last but least...

5. Let's dance and sing please no caroling and have a wonderful time. But pretty please don't play Christmas songs all night lonnnngggg!

See if you listen to this December baby; You'll come to find out it's pretty simple this list.

'Tis the season to be the reason a December baby smiles ear to ear. Make this year different it's not all about Saint Nic... We matter too!

Ohhhhh pretty, pretty, pretty please don't forget my December Birthday this year I am counting on you!

Like a snowflake we're one of a kind keep that in mind and you shall see...

'Tis the season it's gonna be our season too!

Now let's be merry and still say Happy Birthday to that December Guy or Gal... Because:

'Tis the Season it's gonna be our season too!

'Tis the season it's gonna be our season too!

'Tis the season it's gonna be our season you just watch and see! (repeat 3 times)

Like a snowflake we're on of a kind keep that in mind... (long pause)

And if no one remembers this December just know I understand...

Happy Birthday December Baby from me to you!

Ohhhhh pretty, pretty, pretty please don't forget my December Birthday this year I am counting on you!

'Tis the season it's gonna be our season too!

'Tis the season it's gonna be our season too!

'Tis the season it's gonna be our season too!

(fade ending)

I dedicate this song to my son Christoper who shares his birthday in December as well. I hope you have enjoyed this holiday song and I wish you and all that have taken the time to read this song/poem especially the ones born in December: A HAPPY BIRTHDAY and Have a Happy Holiday season! Hopefully this reaches the right audience, and we can add music to the lyrics! Or simply sharing this song to someone who also can relate to being born in December to put a smile on their faces. It seems as though each year there is always a blizzard, or people are just so busy with family parties, shopping and preparations for the holidays.
