On Sunday, the 15th edition of the prestigious Headies Awards happened at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, and it brought forth a lot of wins and losses, but also a lot of drama. Some of the drama happened on the actual award program which was televised, while some happened online.

One drama that happened as a result of the Headies holding was the unexpected drama between award-winner Ayra Starr and a woman on Twitter who calls herself "Olamide Badoo's First Daughter 👽🔥💓".

The drama eventually ended with Ayra Starr tweeting at this Olamide's First Daughter: "@DamzyDdollar i ain’t gonna block you babyy , I’m gonna let you watch and seeeee me excellll while you remain the scum of the earth , this reply will be the only relevant thing in your life for life , bet 🤍" but the question today is HOW DID IT START? and WHAT HAPPENED? Let me give you the gist.

What Happened?

The whole saga started when Wizkid's Made in Lagos was awarded "Album of The Year" at the Headies Awards. Other nominees in the category were Olamide's Carpe Diem album and Ayra Starr's 19 & Dangerous album. As I said, Olamide's album didn't win so because of that, this Twitter user who goes by Olamide Badoo's First Daughter said:

It's still okay they didn't give it to Ayra Starr, na only secondary school prefect award she deserve. Talo ni Samaritan, begi begi oshi 🤧😂😂

Somebody else responded to her saying: "What have u done with ur life.u Dey abuse person wey don make am.Body go tell u later .@ayrastarr I love u ❤️.keep it up." to which the Olamide Badoo's First Daughter responded:

I didn't abuse her in anyway tho but she doesn't deserve the award that's the point. You can tag her Instagram handle as well

That is when Ayra Starr then jumped in and said to the Olamide Badoo's First Daughter:

Babyyyyy you ugly and poor and the only thing relevant in your life is this reply 🤍

Things didn't end there. Not long after, Ayra Starr then tweeted about the Olamide who the whole saga was about saying:

Olamide Said he’s a big fan of my music 🥺 Baddie sneh frrrrr 💃🏾

And then the Olamide Badoo's First Daughter then replied to Ayra Starr saying:

Awwwn baby girl so pain you should be names Pain Prefect😂😂. Pankere wo gown😂😂

And Ayra Starr fired back at her saying:

Pankere that’s worth more than everything you’ll ever achieve and the gown is Gucci babyyyy

After tweeting that, Ayra Starr now said her last thing to the Olamide Badoo's First Daughter which was:

@DamzyDdollar i ain’t gonna block you babyy , I’m gonna let you watch and seeeee me excellll while you remain the scum of the earth , this reply will be the only relevant thing in your life for life , bet 🤍

And that was the drama that unfolded!

What do you think about this whole saga? Did you think Ayra Starr should have responded? Are you happy she fired back at the girl who was coming for her? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment either below or on my Jide Okonjo Facebook post.
