Each of us goes through unhappy states of sadness, but sometimes they repeat themselves over and over again as if the dissatisfaction has finally settled and it is like a "lasting illness".

Such moments appear because people always want something else, they long for a different way of life, for a life in which to find their purpose, in which to have a purpose and a meaning. People suffer from depression, from a deep sadness that becomes painful, it seems to inhibit their desire to enjoy life, to feel, to seek happiness.

If we take into account the statistical data, we could say that the risk factors of depression are: the death of a loved one, divorce, bad economic situation, unfavorable professional conditions, etc. There are many more causes of this real disease - which is depression.

People go into a deep state of sadness because they live in a world devoid of love and joy. They live in a seemingly "meaningless" world in which pleasure is sought more, but the inner joy should not be confused with this state of the moment, because it means something else, it is about fulfilling the purpose as a human being.

People end up suffering from depression and deny this. Moreover, they are desperate to find peace of mind and for this, they go to monasteries, but even here they feel stuck, they do not have the strength to open their souls easily, to discuss with a priest about the problems that press on them.

Their inner suffering is great and this can be seen on their faces, they no longer have that serenity and radiance in their eyes, they seem depressed, sad, depressed for various reasons, which sometimes are not so clear to them.

Their state of fall and conflict between mind and soul is also seen in their behavior, in the way they manifest (they have reactions of dissatisfaction, nervousness, anxiety, impatience, sometimes they have fits of joy or, on the contrary, crying crises), and all these emotional imbalances appear against the background of the lack of love, of the fact that they feel powerless.

People should find meaning in what they have and not want something impossible, which they really can't. It is good to dream, to have desires, ideals, but they must be realistic, not impossible to achieve. In the obsessive pursuit of happiness, they can lead a hectic, stressful life, from which they can miss moments of fulfillment and joy.

They live a life of pleasure but without being happy, they make sacrifices and they think only of the material part, of the gains they get. In reality, the simple things they do only with love can bring them a connection with their soul, joy, and happiness.

To be connected with the heart, they must change, understand that everything comes in their time, look for answers to all the problems that press inside them, and understand that every experience has a good part, teaches them something, can be seen as a blessing.

Priests say that joy comes from living love, that we need to love but also the love of others. But how can this be if we humans do not love each other enough? Everyone has to change, to follow the call of his heart because that is the only way he will feel the joy in his soul.

The idea is not to prove something to anyone, but to make the change happen, no matter what the past. Strength can also be found in vulnerability, especially if you trust that it is possible, have patience and be honest with yourself.

Selfishness is dangerous in life. Oscar Wilde said, "Selfishness does not mean living the way you want, but asking others to live the way you want to." Give up selfishness to be happy! Only when you give from the heart, without fear, can you feel in your soul wonderful, priceless things, a state of inner joy? Such a gesture helps you to feel good, to be happy.

Whenever you give something away, do it wholeheartedly and without any expectations, because this act is actually about you, it will help you to discover your essence and true beauty.

All our gestures must be filled with meaning, beauty, presence, and so we transform for the better, we become more serene, more beautiful. We can live beautifully especially when we slow down when we begin to realize the beauty around us and enjoy the simple things, only they can get rid of depression, anxiety, and stress every day.

The simple things we do with love help us to have a connection with our soul and the world around us.

To build our life beautifully, we must accept the present moment, enjoy it, and not live in the past or the future. If we let the past take over we will always be affected by dissatisfaction, we will have sadness because we do not have what we want, we will always be unhappy and depressed.

The idea is to get rid of the habit of living in the past or the future, because life happens now and not in the future. We can get rid of this habit only if we choose the present moment, to live it as beautifully as possible, trying to do everything with presence, love, and meaning.
