Bayanni during interview

During the interview, Bayanni was asked "How was it before you got that DM from Don Jazzy?" to which he responded:

BAYANNI: I was a struggling artiste. I was dropping freestyles on my Instagram, on my socials, like every week, I would drop a freestyle. I had just finished my final paper in uni. I studied accounting in Owerri. I was just dropping freestyles every week, I was done with school so there was nothing holding me back anymore. So I was just putting out content and I did that for a year before Don Jazzy sent a DM. And part of the things that he sent when he sent a DM and was chatting me was that he was amazed by my consistency. I was so consistent with it.

"Apart from Don Jazzy, did anybody else reach out to you?"

BAYANNI: Some didn't reach out but some liked my posts, commented.

"Was that your goal, did you ever want to be under his management?"

BAYANNI: Funny thing that a lot of people don't know is that sometimes, when some big thing is about to happen for me, I kinda see it before. So I had already seen the scenario. I had seen it like four times. I told him when I met him, he was so shocked. I told him that I had seen him and me in the studio four times. I had seen the vision, like it was already too much at some point. Like when I saw him, I was like okay when is it gonna happen?

"Are there other things that you have seen?"

BAYANNI: I saw 'Ta Ta Ta' too. I saw myself performing in East Africa, doing tours in East Africa, and it happened.
