Under purple cloud

magical cloud

By Sheik CPublished 3 years ago 5 min read

Under purple clouds, in a land of perpetual twilight, a small village nestled among the rolling hills. The villagers went about their daily lives, tending to their farms and animals, completely unaware of the magic that surrounded them.

But there was one person in the village who knew of the magic - a young girl named Lila. She had been born with the gift of seeing the invisible threads of magic that wove themselves through the air. To Lila, the world was alive with color and motion, as if every leaf on every tree was alive and dancing.

Lila spent her days exploring the village, watching as the magic ebbed and flowed around her. She could see the strands of magic that bound the villagers to their land, and she knew that those same strands bound her to the land as well.

As the days passed, Lila began to realize that the magic was growing weaker. The once-vibrant colors were fading, and the invisible threads were becoming frayed and tangled. Lila knew that something had to be done, but she didn't know what.

One night, Lila had a dream. In the dream, she saw a great tower rising up from the earth, stretching up towards the sky. The tower was made of crystal, and it shone with a brilliant light that illuminated the entire village.

When Lila woke up, she knew that she had to find the tower. She set out from the village, following the invisible threads of magic that led her towards the tower. As she walked, she could feel the magic growing stronger, and the colors growing brighter.

Finally, after many days of walking, Lila saw the tower on the horizon. It was just as she had seen it in her dream - a tower of crystal that shone with a brilliant light. Lila knew that she had to enter the tower and find out what lay within.

As she stepped into the tower, Lila felt a surge of magic wash over her. She could feel the strands of magic weaving themselves around her, binding her to the tower. And then she saw it - a glowing orb, floating in the center of the tower.

Lila reached out to touch the orb, and as her fingers brushed against it, she felt a surge of energy. The magic flowed through her, filling her with a power that she had never known before. And then, with a sudden flash of light, Lila knew what she had to do.

She closed her eyes and focused all of her energy on the village below. She could feel the magic flowing out of her, filling the village with light and color. And then, as suddenly as it had started, it was over. Lila collapsed to the ground, exhausted but elated.

When she opened her eyes, she saw that the purple clouds had lifted, and the sun was shining down on the village. The colors were vibrant, the air was alive with magic, and the villagers were all gathered around her, amazed by what she had done.

From that day on, Lila became known as the village's greatest hero. She had brought the magic back to the land, and the villagers knew that they would never forget her. And Lila knew that she would never forget the power of magic, or the feeling of being connected to something greater than herself.

As the days went by, Lila found that she could control the magic more easily. She practiced every day, honing her abilities and learning new spells. She discovered that she could create illusions, bend light to her will, and even control the weather.

As she grew stronger, Lila realized that there were other magical beings in the world. She had heard stories of faeries and sprites, but had never encountered them herself. So she set out on a journey to find them.

She traveled through forests and mountains, over rivers and valleys, until she finally came upon a clearing in the woods. In the center of the clearing was a circle of mushrooms, and dancing around the circle were a group of faeries.

Lila approached them cautiously, not wanting to startle them. The faeries noticed her and stopped their dancing. They stared at her with wide eyes, their wings fluttering nervously.

"Who are you?" one of them asked.

"I'm Lila," she replied. "I'm a mage from the village."

The faeries looked at each other, then one of them stepped forward. "We've heard of you," she said. "You're the one who brought the magic back to the land."

Lila nodded. "I am. And I've come to learn from you."

The faeries looked at each other again, then they all flew up into the air. Lila watched in amazement as they darted around her, leaving trails of glittering magic in their wake.

"Show us what you can do," one of them said.

Lila closed her eyes and focused, feeling the magic flowing through her. She opened her eyes, and a ball of fire appeared in her hand. The faeries gasped in awe, and Lila could see the respect in their eyes.

For the next few weeks, Lila stayed with the faeries, learning everything she could from them. She learned how to talk to animals, how to create portals to other worlds, and even how to shape shift.

But eventually, Lila knew that she had to return to the village. She said goodbye to the faeries, promising to visit them again soon, and set out on the journey back home.

When she arrived in the village, Lila found that the villagers had changed. They looked up to her with a new respect, and some even feared her. Lila knew that she had become something more than human, something magical.

But she didn't let that change her. She continued to use her magic for good, helping the villagers and protecting them from harm. And she knew that as long as she had the magic, she could do anything she set her mind to.

As the years went by, Lila became known throughout the land as the greatest mage of all time. Her name was whispered in hushed tones, and people came from far and wide to seek her help.

She never forgot her roots, though. She still lived in the same small village, and she still helped the people there. But now, she had a greater purpose. She used her magic to heal the sick, to stop wars, and to protect the innocent.

And when she finally passed away, at a ripe old age, the villagers knew that they had lost a great treasure. But they also knew that Lila's legacy would live on forever. Her magic had brought them peace, and that was something that could never be taken away.
