Things You Should NEVER Ask Women

What to Know When You're Dating Ukrainian Women

You’ll hardly learn anything about someone if you don’t ask the right questions. Knowing what to talk about and what to ask helps you to have meaningful conversations.

And if you’re a couple, it helps you avoid fights and misunderstandings when you know your limitations.

To help you out, here are some of the questions you should never ask women:

“Weren’t you able to sleep well last night?”

Asking this is an implication that she looks tired. Calling out a woman for the way she looks, especially when done in an accusing tone, can make her self-conscious.

It will make her feel unattractive. In turn, it will make her feel less confident about herself.

If you’re really concerned because of the way she looks and how she’s doing, rephrase your question.

You can ask, “I’ve been meaning to ask you this, but how have you been in the last couple of days?”

“How old are you?”

Our age can be a determining factor for our social milestones and a significant mark of where we are in our lives.

It's not a problem if you ask this question to someone who looks under 28. They're less likely to take it negatively and won’t be offended by the question.

But if you’re going to ask women aged 30 to 50, it might turn out deadly for you. This question makes them self-conscious.

Generally speaking, asking women their age is rude because you’re judging them based on their appearance.

Some think that their age is not for you to know. Unless you’re close with them, age might not be a sensitive topic.

“Can I kiss you?”

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to kiss someone, but asking for it is an entirely different subject.

Assuming that you’re on a romantic date and the atmosphere is just perfect for a kiss, naturally going for it might be better than asking first-hand. However, doing so can be risky.

She might not want to kiss you yet, or it could be that she’s trying to confirm her feelings first. To avoid putting yourself in this awkward situation, test her first.

If a lock of hair has fallen on the side of her face, brush it with your hand. If she doesn’t pull back, you can go for a kiss.

Another thing you can do is wipe off a food stain along her cheek. If you can’t see it’s a problem with her, just go for it.

“Can we be friends?”

Unless you’re a quarterback talking to your middle school crush, don’t ask her this.

It’s obvious that you didn’t give careful thought about asking her the question because a high-value man doesn’t ask people to be his friends. Especially if you plan to date her, skip this question.

Being spontaneous is key to making friends.

“Are you trying to ignore me?”

If you’re in a committed relationship, this isn’t a bad question to ask. It could be that you know something is bothering her, and you want to fix the problem.

Because you’ve already gotten accustomed to her, you’d sense her disinterest in talking with you, thus making you ask the question.

By contrast, asking this to her while you’re still trying to get to know each other makes you come off as desperate or even clingy.

You can do better by asking, “I noticed you’re quiet today. Are you alright?”

“Are you pregnant?”

You just placed one foot on the grave by asking her this. It’s a risky one, especially if she isn’t pregnant. You’re basically calling her fat.

This is the first thing that comes to her mind, and she’ll most likely be offended by the remark. If she doesn’t bring it up herself, don’t be the one to say it. That means she isn’t, and it’s time you brush it off.

Assuming that you’re in a relationship and her new look is something you aren’t fond of, tell her about it in a subtle way. Be careful so that she won’t take what you’re going to say negatively.

But if you’re still in the early stages after meeting each other, move on and date someone else if you’re indeed bothered about it.

“Can I borrow some money?”

If this isn’t enough to turn off a woman, I don’t know what is.

Money is one of the sensitive things to talk about and we all have our own views about it. Some couples prefer combining their finances and are more likely to assist each other in times of crisis.

But for some, they only think of money as a way to set themselves apart, thus making them handle each of their money on their own.

If you ask a woman to borrow money and you’re not in a relationship with each other at all, you risk appearing like a con artist.

“Are you on your period?”

Women dislike it when you associate their mood with their cycle. It’s a way of telling them that they’re being nasty because it’s the time of the month.

In some cases, it can be interpreted as asking for sex. Because you’re asking them if they’re on their period, it makes them think that you want to engage in the activity.

What to Ask Them Instead

Asking the right questions helps you have a better conversation. You’ll find it easy to talk with someone if you don’t get to hurt their feelings in any way or invade their privacy.

Whether you want to get to know someone or just strike up a meaningful conversation, here are some questions you can ask instead:

  1. Do you like traveling? If yes, have you visited a lot of places?
  2. Was there a decision you regretted making?
  3. What things are you passionate about?
  4. What do you consider a deal-breaker in a relationship?
  5. What is your favorite time of the day?
  6. What is a crazy memory you just can’t forget?
  7. If tomorrow’s the end of the world, what would you do today?
  8. What do you like the best about yourself?
  9. Do you have any talents many don’t know about?
  10. What is the most valuable object to you?

There are a lot of other interesting questions you can ask her. Just be mindful about how you phrase your questions, and you’ll do just fine.
