The Philosophy of the Stars

I think in the current mindset of the average American, it is common knowledge that Astrology is an old gypsy’s tale, or fantasy. Some even try to stamp the word witchcraft or heretic on the everyday astrology student. But, this opinion of course is another vaguely investigated philosophy by the average individual.

In reality, I was born on August 9, 1974 at 8:30am, So I’m a Leo. this day Richard Nixon surrendered the presidency of the United States of America to Gerald Ford. The end of the Watergate scandal. Hopefully, my life is calmer! Most astrology charts paint me as a generous, outgoing, creative, broad-minded, faithful and loving person.

Although, I do carry some of these traits I don’t think this is the whole picture. After the 2020 Corona virus lock down, I’ve spent a great deal of time studying ancient knowledge, religion and philosophy. My primary goal, being my duty to find the true meaning of the universe and our existence. Along this way I was awakened to the idea that my birth chart may provide a more accurate wisdom of my self.

In a nutshell, this birth chart is a circular chart that is divided in twelve houses in the inner circle of categorization, the separators of different time periods of our lives. The outer circle of the chart is labeled the star constellations, or fixed stars. The planets and other aspects are placed inside this circular chart at the points they were positioned at the exact time and place of your birth. The positioning of these particular points paints a more accurate view than the one that most people read in their everyday horoscope.

As an example, in my birth chart, my north node is positioned inside the fourth house meaning the karmic lesson I must learn in this lifetime is that I should spend cherish and love my family more than worry about being successful in business. In real life that is exactly what is happening to me at the moment, I’m spending entirely too much time at being successful, and not enough time at home. Further, Pluto dominates my first house, and my Ascendant sign is Virgo, so this paints me as this shy, reserved person that notices everything. If I were to paint a picture of myself, I would point out that I’m this very reserved individual that notices even the smallest details. I’m also serious and direct. Pluto is also an influencer of generations, so maybe that will be a plus! But, this Ascendant sign in Astrology really simply is your starting point. As you progress your life inside of this birth chart you’ll evolve out of this ‘Ascendant Personality.’ At some point in your life you obtain the beauty and fullness of the personality of your full sun sign.

Essentially, I’ve heard stories and myths of forefathers of ours having an understanding of the stars. Apparently they were able to forecast their futures and understand their own true natures by looking at the star.

In the study of my own birth chart, since my moon was in the eighth house I’m deeply sensitive to the hidden undercurrents of the paranormal, and I have an unusual insight into the inner lives of others. As a psychic. I am starting to believe that I am able to predict things. I’ve noted subtle paranormal abilities. Clairvoyance. It all simply occurred in the consciousness, so it is really hard to prove. Further, I’ve noticed a lot of smaller instances of thinking in my mind things that would come to happen in real life. Many times, I don’t even tell anyone about the vision. I’ve hoped that I could one day obtain a raw emerald stone, so that I can wield some of its psychic properties.

Mercury, the house of communication, sits in the Leo constellation during my birth, so I’m aflame with passion. Venus, the ruler of art, beauty, charisma and good will rules my eleventh house, so I have a strong desire to cultivate love and relationships. Jupiter rules my seventh house of partnerships and relationships, So I’m generous and thoughtful, liberal, open-minded, highly developed in philosophy.

It is also important to note the position of the planets inside the constellations. I simply think about these planets and points in the stars as being influencers over our actions. It is my opinion that these planets and aspects actually influence our everyday actions and decisions. Our free will is only partial. If you think about it much of our decisions weigh on outer factors. Taking this whole science and explaining it is a great start on the act of learning our own true natures.

Further, my birth chart contains a mutable grand cross, so in essence, there is one planet or aspect in each element including fire, wind, air, earth. So in astrological terms, I’m being pulled a lot of different ways. This seems to paint a true picture of me. I don’t think I’ve every lasted more than ten years in a romantic relationship or job. I think the truth of the matter lies in the fact that I have these four powerful forces of my astrological makeup pulling in different ways. In astrology these oppositions must be studied for important information. As another important note, my birth chart appears like the ancient ‘Chi-Rho’ or oldest Christogram. So, in these words I will conquer. Another insanely accurate aspect of my birth chart. When I take on a particular task I tend to take it to a level of excellence. Some have even told me I was obsessive on a super psychotic way!

In conclusion, the subject is definitely worth investigating. Ancient lore and philosophy has pointed to there being a similarity between what’s above, and what’s below. So in essence the positioning of the above when you are born paints a picture of you below.
