The top 10 richest men in the world today may not be there in 2022, but these 10 entrepreneurs will certainly be on that list of the top 10 richest men in the world in 2022. Here’s why...
1) Jeff Bezos
Jeff Bezos is the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Amazon. He has a net worth of $120 billion. Bezos was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Jacqueline (née Gise) and Ted Jorgensen. His mother was a teenage daughter of U.S. Air Force Major General George Jorgensen who had served as a bomber pilot during World War II and his father was an engineer with Exxon. Bezos has four siblings: three younger sisters, and one younger brother. Bezos attended Los Angeles’ Montessori school. In 1974, he attended Miami Palmetto High School for ninth grade; the following year he graduated from Miami’s Horace Mann School. He graduated from Princeton University in 1986 with degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University, where he was valedictorian.
2) Bill Gates
Bill Gates is a well-known entrepreneur, philanthropist, author and cofounder of Microsoft. He has consistently ranked among the world’s wealthiest people for decades. He was the wealthiest overall from 1995 to 2009, excluding 2008 when he was briefly surpassed by Warren Buffett. Gates is currently ranked as the 2nd richest person in the world according to Forbes 2017 list of billionaires and Forbes 400 list with a net worth of $75 billion. Gates founded Microsoft Corporation with Paul Allen on April 4, 1975.
Microsoft was established as a partnership that would market the BASIC programming language which they had developed together.
Since then, it has grown into one of the largest and most successful technology companies in the world. He served as CEO until stepping down on January 1, 2000; his tenure marked by a period of great product focus and company growth.
3) Bernard Arnault
Bernard Arnault is the Chairman and CEO of LVMH, a luxury goods company. He was born iinn 1949 and holds 74.1% of LVMH's shares, making him the richest man in the world. Arnault got his start working as an executive at J.Laurin & Cie which later became Christian Dior SA.
In 1987, he became president of Louis Vuitton and helped expand the brand into other markets like Japan, Russia, China and North America.
In 1988 Arnault bought out Boussac Group’s stake in Christian Dior S.A., becoming the sole owner of Christian Dior Couture
He has also been involved with developing brands like Donna Karan International LLC.
4) Warren Buffet
Warren Buffett is an American entrepreneur and investor. He is widely considered the most successful investor of the 20th century. He was ranked as the world's wealthiest person in 2008, but he has since been displaced by Bill Gates and Amancio Ortega. Buffett is often called the Wizard of Omaha or Oracle of Omaha and the Sage of Omaha. His investing style emphasizes value investing, seeking out companies with low price-to-value ratios based on their current assets and future prospects. Buffett does not purchase stocks based on company earnings (since he believes those numbers are inflated), but instead looks for growth potential to determine the best stocks to invest in. Amancio Ortega is a Spanish clothing company owner who owns the world's biggest fashion chain, Zara. He has an estimated net worth of $62.2 billion and is ranked as the second richest man in the world. As of July 2015, he holds the distinction of being Europe’s wealthiest person. His fortune comes from his ownership of 60% of Inditex shares through his investment holding company Pontegadea-Ortega, which translates to about €53 billion ($62.3 billion) based on current exchange rates.
He also controls Laboutin, another famous shoe brand that can be found at Zara stores.
Amancio's first job was as a salesman for textiles during the 1960s Franco regime in Spain. He opened up his first store with Rosalia Mera in 1975, going on to open the now infamous Zara store in 1979 with just five sewing machines and six staff members.
6) Mark Zuckerberg
Mark Zuckerberg is an American computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur. He is the chairman, chief executive officer (CEO), and co-founder of Facebook. As of 2018, Zuckerberg is the 12th-richest person in the world, according to Forbes's ranking of billionaires.
Zuckerberg became a billionaire at age 23 with Facebook's IPO in 2012; as of March 2013 he has an estimated net worth of US$33.4 billion according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Carlos Slim is a Mexican businessman who was the wealthiest person in the world for four consecutive years, from 2010 to 2013. He has a net worth of $68 billion.
Slim owns about 30% of América Móvil, which operates in 17 Latin American countries and in the United States. América Móvil is one of Mexico’s top three companies by revenue.
In 2013, his son was appointed chief executive officer of Telmex, which is part of Grupo Carso that Slim owns with his son and daughter.
8) Larry Ellison
Larry Ellison is an American businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the founder, executive chairman and chief technology officer of Oracle Corporation. As of March 2018, he was listed by Forbes as the third-wealthiest person in the United States and as the eighth-wealthiest in the world with a fortune of $61.7 billion.
Ellison pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from there in 1965 before moving to Berkeley where he would work on his Ph.D., but dropped out after less than two years to pursue an interest in programming languages which led him to join Ampex Corporation (now Oracle) as a programmer for about $4 per hour.

He also heads up Google's projects involving new technologies such as self-driving cars and artificial intelligence. As of October 2017, he is the 12th richest person in the world, with a net worth of $50 billion.
Page earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Michigan, where he joined Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He then attended Stanford University to pursue a doctorate in computer science. However, he left Stanford to become an entrepreneur after being hired by Brin at Google.
10) Michael Bloomberg
Michael Bloomberg is the founder of Bloomberg LP, the global financial data and media company. He has an estimated net worth of $53.4 billion as of November 2017.
Michael Rubens Bloomberg (born February 14, 1942) is an American businessman, politician, and philanthropist who served as the 108th Mayor of New York City from 2002 to 2013. His tenure in office marked the second-longest time span of any mayor in New York City history. He also served as chairman of the board at Johns Hopkins University from 1996 to 2002 before he began his political career and served as a member of Harvard's Board of Overseers from 1986 to 1993.
