Attack on Titan Season 04 Part 02 Final Chapter.

The world trembled.

For centuries, the walls had stood silent, concealing a nightmare that no one dared to imagine. But now, that nightmare had awakened. One by one, thousands of Colossal Titans tore themselves free from the earth, their footsteps shaking continents, their steam burning the skies. The ground quaked under their endless march, and the oceans boiled at their touch.

This was the Rumbling.

And at the heart of it all stood Eren Yeager, his body fused with the monstrous form of the Founder Titan. His skeletal frame stretched across the horizon, a grotesque god towering above the army of Titans he commanded. His eyes glowed with an unyielding fire — the gaze of a man who had chosen to become the devil for the sake of freedom.

The Alliance of Enemies

Far from the monstrous procession, a broken alliance gathered.

Mikasa Ackerman adjusted the straps of her ODM gear, her eyes heavy with grief. She had once sworn to protect Eren at all costs, but now she faced the impossible — the boy she loved had become the destroyer of the world.

Beside her stood Armin Arlert, burdened with the weight of the Colossal Titan, his mind racing with strategies that all ended in blood. Levi Ackerman, scarred but unyielding, leaned on his blades, his expression unreadable. And then there were those who had once been enemies: Reiner Braun, Annie Leonhart, Pieck Finger, and even Marleyan soldiers who had once vowed to slaughter every Eldian.

What bound them together was not trust, but desperation.

“If we don’t stop him,” Armin whispered, staring at the horizon where Titans marched, “there won’t be a world left to fight for.”

Reiner clenched his fists. “Then we end it. No matter what it takes.”

Mikasa closed her eyes, hearing again Eren’s voice — If you want to stop me, try to stop me.

The World Burns

The march of the Colossal Titans left nothing but ruin. Cities fell in hours, their walls crumbling like sand. Forests ignited into infernos, oceans churned with boiling waves, and entire nations were erased beneath an endless tide of footsteps.

In Marley, mothers clutched their children, watching in horror as the horizon itself seemed to walk toward them. Soldiers fired cannons, launched artillery, even prayed — but nothing could stop the advance.

Eren’s voice echoed in the minds of every Eldian across the world:

“I will trample the earth. I will destroy every enemy beyond this island. I will wipe them all away, so my people can be free.”

To some, his words were salvation. To others, damnation. But none could ignore them.

The Battle Above the Beast

The alliance’s airship soared through the smoky skies, carrying the last hope of humanity. Below them, Eren’s Titan loomed, a monstrous skeleton stretching for miles, its ribcage rising like mountains.

Levi tightened his grip on his blades. “We cut him down here. Or it’s over.”

But before they could strike, the air trembled with a deafening roar. From Eren’s spine emerged the Beast Titan, reconstructed from Zeke’s will. Stones rained down, smashing the airship, tearing the alliance from the sky.

The battle began midair, soldiers diving with ODM gear, explosions lighting the heavens. Armin transformed into the Colossal Titan, the blast ripping through swarms of Titans guarding Eren’s form. Annie and Reiner engaged in Titan combat, their fists shaking the ground as they tried to carve a path. Pieck darted with precision, firing explosives at Eren’s skeletal body.

And Levi — humanity’s strongest — cut through the Beast Titan once more, blades flashing with deadly fury.

But no matter how many blows they struck, Eren’s massive form endured.

The Ghosts of the Past

In the chaos, Armin was pulled into the Paths, the timeless realm of Ymir Fritz. There, he saw the truth — Ymir’s endless servitude, her chains forged by history and fear. She gazed at him with hollow eyes, waiting.

Armin realized then that this war was not just Eren’s. It was Ymir’s, the cycle of Titans repeating through centuries. And unless her chains were broken, freedom would never be real.

“Eren…” Armin whispered, reaching toward the boy he once knew, “you’re not the only one suffering. You don’t have to bear this alone.”

But Eren’s voice thundered back: “I started this. I’ll finish it. I’ll never hand my freedom to anyone else.”

The Final Strike

The alliance fought with everything they had left. Reiner held Eren’s form with all his strength, even as his armor shattered. Annie and Pieck bled in their Titan shells, their bodies breaking under the strain. Armin, desperate, sacrificed his Titan form to pin Eren’s colossal frame for even a moment.

And in that moment, Mikasa made her choice.

ODM lines whistled as she flew through the air, cutting through bone and steam, her blades aimed not at an enemy… but at the boy she loved.

Inside the monstrous Titan’s mouth, she found him — Eren, bound yet unyielding. His eyes softened when he saw her, but his words remained the same.

“Set me free, Mikasa.”

Tears blurred her vision. With one final strike, she severed his head from his body.

The Silence After the Storm

The Rumbling stopped. The Colossal Titans froze mid-step, their destruction halted. The earth, scorched and broken, lay in silence.

Mikasa cradled Eren’s head against her chest, her tears falling onto his lifeless face. Around her, the alliance stood battered and broken, their victory hollow. They had saved what remained of the world, but at the cost of their brother, their friend, their leader.

Armin sank to his knees, whispering, “We… we stopped him.” But his voice cracked, for he knew the truth — they had stopped not just a monster, but a boy who had carried their hopes too far.

Levi sat amidst the rubble, his gaze distant. Reiner collapsed, unable to move. Annie turned away, her face unreadable. The war was over, but their wounds would never heal.

The Wings of Freedom, once a symbol of hope, had carried them to the very end. But now those wings were stained in blood, their feathers torn.

And as Mikasa laid Eren to rest beneath a tree, the world mourned both its destroyer and its savior.

Epilogue: The Weight of Freedom

The Rumbling had ended, but its shadow stretched across generations. Nations rebuilt, scars remained, and the memory of Eren Yeager lingered like a ghost.

Some called him a monster. Others, a martyr. But for those who had known him, he was simply a boy who could never escape the curse of freedom.

Mikasa visited his grave often, speaking to the wind as though he could still hear. “Eren… you’re free now.”

And somewhere, beyond the walls, beyond the paths, beyond history itself… maybe he was.
