The disorder of social or personal behavior lies in the adolescent's response to the difficulty of adapting to an environment, and, at the same time, to the changes he goes through. The fact that of all living things, at birth man is the most complex and dependent being and that he needs a long period of transformation to reach maturity, is the premise of a possible behavioral disorder.

When the desire to adapt appears in the adolescent's personality, it becomes a struggle for assimilation and mastery of the surrounding reality. But this also means that to survive, to integrate harmoniously in society, the adolescent needs help, the mediating intervention of some formative factors. More simply, on the way to maturity, a series of social and emotional changes appear, etc. which can lead to behavioral disorder.

The pressures exerted by parents, from the environment, in general, must be alleviated, adjusted about the sensitivity of the adolescent. For example, if a teenager is known to be more sensitive to the changes that are taking place around him, his parents, relatives, teachers must behave according to this side of his personality.

However, personality is not innate, it is influenced by everything that happens around us. That is why both the family and the rest of the environment play an essential role in shaping the personality. The adolescent feels the need for acceptance, he must believe that it is a satisfaction for his entourage and that he receives in return everything he offers, in turn.

He also needs firm principles by his ideals, otherwise, behavioral disorder intervenes. This is also one of the reasons for gender issues among young people, namely that the family was not an appropriate model of education for adolescents.

Psychologists believe that if a young person on the verge of maturity has no parents to be proud of, he suffers more than one who does not. And precisely, teenagers grow up and develop their personality according to the models they have in the family.

Young people with certain intellectual and emotional disabilities will feel excluded from society, especially from the circle of friends and colleagues. In this situation, they will have the impression that they have remained "unprotected and exposed".

We can also talk here about parents who force teenagers to pursue certain studies, a certain profile, or who, swinging between dissatisfaction and negativity, obstruct their path to self-confidence. Here, too, the behavioral disorder will occur, but in this case, it will be even more violent, the adolescent behaving completely differently from how he behaves in front of his parents: he will adopt the same attitude towards himself and others.

The cases of families with a stepparent, or with stepbrothers or brothers from another marriage are no different. For example, if a teenager is constantly reprimanded that his siblings are better prepared, failure at school will only be a cause, not a phenomenon that parents might rebuke.

Behavioral disorder, in its many forms, is, of course, different from one individual to another. However, it has similar forms of manifestation such as aggression, theft, emotional instability, running away from home, premature sex and prostitution, alcohol or drug use.

These are called complex manifestations with extremely different meanings, depending on the personality of the adolescent, his ideals, etc. We can also talk here about the symptoms of some mental disorders. Not infrequently, however, the mentioned manifestations can only be accidental, expressing, rather, the young man's desire to defend himself against problems, because the development process in which he is at that period of his life does nothing but destabilize him.

Normally, this would not happen. Therefore, the behavioral disorder can be translated into the adolescent's response to life. At the same time, he will want to assert himself, to confirm his personality, but also his individualism through unexpected actions, a fact often not accepted by his entourage. In general, the character of the adolescent is unpredictable, as are its manifestations.

Of course, it should not be overlooked that most of these disorders or responses to the environment may be normal from a certain age onwards, especially in the midst of ongoing problems. The only problem, in this respect, is their gravity and the stage they can reach a given moment. Out of control, the problems of adolescence produce real personal dramas.

However, it is considered that this is not the case for specialized help, most parents blame the behavior disorder on the current chaos in society. However, psychologists recommend caution to parents, especially when their children are approaching adolescence, even though most of the problems they have are considered insignificant compared to the problems they will have in adulthood.
