The Cure for Depression
The Cure for Depression is not a pill!

The Depression Cure:
As a diagnosed Bi-Polar Depression individual, I want to get this off my chest. Depression is not cured by money, or magic pills. I am a firm believer that depression is caused by circumstance of living life. Sometimes life can get the better of us. The importance of this message is that life deals us a stack of cards and how we deal those cards determines a lot.
In my opinion societal influences are more responsible for causing depression than people want to admit or believe. This essay will determine that a loveless society causes human depression. This essay will also establish that big pharmaceutical anti-depression medicines only do more harm than they do good for the human body.
This essay discusses the fact that societal influences are making humans depressed and that love and nature are the only cure for human depression.
When I was younger I was taught to go to college, secure a high paying job, so that I could earn lots of money and live a very happy life. The notion that happiness comes from material things and humans that are surrounded with extravagance, opulence, and monetary things and stuff are the absolute happiest people in this world.
This is a ridiculous theory.
Though ridiculous as it may sound it has influenced a lifetime of people seeking monetary justification for happiness. The human psyche is subconsciously influenced daily from our earliest childhood memories. Our society teaches us that the more stuff a person has the happier a person will become.
Turn on the television and society steady influences us to buy this, buy that, buy, buy, buy. It has taken a lifetime for me to realize that the more things a person has does not make them any less depressed or sad.
It is true that reality proves that the more stuff a person has the more detached from reality these people truly become.
Even people that have everything are still very much depressed. These people have not realized that having all of these things only gives them a temporary happiness. We accumulate monetary stuff and this stuff slowly removes us from love and finding out what true happiness really means. Humans become so consumed by accumulating superficial things and stuff that they forget the most important thing about this life is how much more wonderful life is when you are surrounded by love.
People become depressed for what reasons?
Clinical psychologists are not needed to diagnose depression. All a person has to do is ask the depressed person what is making them sad. If you ask them you will find that the answers they reveal are related to one of two things. These two things are either the lack of money, or lack of love.
True story, lack of money, and lack of love do create depression.
Depression lives inside all of us, but not all of us will allow that negative emotion to consume us, or place us into a depressed state. These negative emotions are only the surface of the battle called depression. We are brainwashed and if people would step outside the superficial world and realize that the cure to depression does not come in the form of a magic pill prescribed by a pharma-con physician.
The cure to depression is not going to come from having a fat wallet full of cash, or from owning an ultra-fast, shiny new sports car. The cure to depression is not living in a big fancy house surrounded by a golden gate community. The cure to depression is not an all you can eat Chinese Buffet. The cure is not drinking, or doing illegal drugs. These are things that people place a higher regard for than to love.
The hard truth is,
Depression cannot be cured with materialistic things. The only cure for depression is love. Love is the key to true happiness. When people realize that love can heal them and materialistic stuff is what is destroying them. When people realize that fact then the world in which we live will know peace, harmony, and true happiness.
The joy of love can cure illness, and love can end wars. Love can build amazing human interactions. Most religions preach about Love yet on the same hand they preach love they also deny love. A Church with a mountain of wealth, and lots of parishioners can walk right past the homeless people on the street in order to enter the church. How can a Wealthy Church allow homelessness to exist inside of the communities in which they are established?
It is true that not all humans are capable of love, or even harnessing the positive energy that manifests from this true emotion.
What has happened is that people are so pre-occupied with the notion that the more money they have the happier they will be. Money cannot buy love, and for sure money cannot buy happiness, it cannot even cure your depression, it will only temporarily mask it.
Some of the world’s most financially wealthy people are the unhappiest souls on earth. It seems the more cash they have in their pockets the less capable they become of loving humanity. If this was not the case then explain how trillionaires with vast access to extreme wealth can hoard this wealth while the very employees that work for them are living in cars in parking lots, barely able to exist.
Love is the person on the street that would give their own coat off of their back to a homeless person. That same homeless person was shivering on a street where a wealthy man in a chauffeur driven, stretch limousine, drives right past him, and never even looks outside of those dark tinted windows. It is easy to ignore if you are not emotionally attached to the world in spirit.
Spiritually inspired people cannot ignore the reality surrounding the actions of a heartless materialistic world. The love you have inside your heart does not come with a price tag, and I encourage people to seriously realize that love does not have an expire date.
We must learn to love each other, even those with opposing viewpoints. The point is to learn how to co-exist with alternate opinions that are not the same as yours. It is very simple to do when you love someone. It is hard to harness love in a world full of superficial egos, and negative influences. A world in which materialistic attributes are placed on a higher level of value, than living a virtuous life itself. Love is not based on monetary satisfaction but the quality of the relationships that we have in this life.
The bottom line is people are depressed because society tells them that they are nothing unless they have mountains of stuff. The reality is that all of that stuff will not end the depression, and money it will not buy you love.
Love is what we all should be doing every single day that we walk this earth. It should just be that simple, all we need is a lot of love, and some good positive vibrations and that my friends will cure depression.
