All you need is Love, and Love is all you need.
Healer, Heal Myself
Since the age of six, as long as I have kept a diary, I have signed it, “Love, Me.” Even as a kid, before countless magazine articles and email newsletters promoting self-worth bombarded my mailbox, I was drawn to the concept of loving yourself…or at least, trying to. Nevertheless, despite understanding this early on, I have spent most of my thirty-two years criticizing, critiquing, and reprehending myself. Judging myself. Wishing I was someone else. And yet, I’ve never given up on my incessant quest for self-acceptance. I read A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson so many times I can quote it. I kept gratitude journals, repeated affirmations, and listened to podcasts. I purchased an absurd amount of bergamot-scented candles. But for some reason, focusing all of this energy solely on myself never quite clicked for me. It wasn’t until I began shifting my awareness to helping others that my relationship with myself finally began to heal.

True Love. Top Story - February 2024.
My best friend is not of this world. But he makes himself available to me at all times. He has heard all my stories, been with me through the good, bad, ugly, and has dried my tears. He has been my comfort when everyone else has left me.

How Do You Know When You've Found the One?
1. When you are comfortable in any setting with them. I encourage all couples who are interested in furthering their relationships toward marriage to explore lots of different types of settings before tying the knot. Spend time with your significant other's extended family. Try going to the mall together. Professional sporting events. Birthday parties. Go overseas together if you can. The more places that you are able to spend time together the better because you will be able to see how your significant other responds to his or her surroundings. Ask yourself, do I admire the way my significant other takes in the world?

Her Name is Star. Runner-Up in The Dragon Beside Me Challenge. Top Story - February 2024.
Dear H, Many of us look up to those who inspire us. Not me. I look down. I didn’t find my idol in a book or newspaper, in a classroom or on TV. I gave birth to you. You’re sitting five feet away as I type this, licking icing off your fingers from the cinnamon swirl you made yesterday, and wiping them on your blanket, eyes fixed on an inane series of YouTube shorts. Not inspiration material? Sometimes seeing the cogs makes our heroes all the more inspiring, and you inspire me every day.

"Multipotentiality Unveiled: Embracing Limitless Potential in a World of Diverse Dreams"
"Multipotentiality Unveiled: Embracing Limitless Potential in a World of Diverse Dreams" Introduction: This week, a single word, seemingly innocuous yet laden with profound meaning, entered my vocabulary: multipotentiality. Its authenticity as a legitimate word may be questioned, but as I type it into a document without the red underline, I find myself drawn into its weightiness – a sensation akin to a thousand stars descending upon me. The genesis of this revelation was a comment on a social media post, meant to inspire and uplift, but little did I know the impact it would have on my perception of self and the diverse pursuits that have defined my life.

Best Friends
I’ve been wanting to get this off my chest for a while. These words and feelings that I’ve felt like I couldn’t say. How do you talk about something so painful and raw so casually? With no prompt and no idea where to speak about it? Then this challenge came up and it feels like whatever powers that be out there, are telling me to let it out.
