The Negative Impact of Drama in Relationships: Navigating the Perils of Unnecessary Conflict
In the intricate dance of human relationships, drama can be a perilous partner that undermines the foundation of connections. While a certain level of excitement and passion is expected in any relationship, toxic drama, characterized by unnecessary conflicts, exaggerated emotions, bringing up hurtful triggers or unresolved feelings, and incessant turmoil, can wreak havoc on the bonds we hold dear.

so pretty to think. Top Story - February 2024.
ORIGIN STORY Hallmark once told my parents, concerning their love story, that it was "incredible, but not enough conflict" to be made into a movie. From birth, I was certain soul mates existed, that they found their way to you with the same pristine ethos as a stork delivering a baby in a crystal sky. When I asked my Mother about sex in 5th grade, she handed me a bodice-ripping romance novel and said, "Here, read this." I didn't stand a chance.

None Know Better Than a Mother
My mother attempted to have me for six years. She had been the kind of girl who dreamed of being a mother, who ached to hold a child in her womb, in her arms. When it took doctors, surgeries, and long nights of prayer to produce me, her worry overcame her hope. She craved the sweet intimacy of a daughter, one who would share tears and laughter, dress up days and bakery dates. When I arrived it changed her world - and growing up I sometimes wondered whether that was for better or worse.

What’s the “Situation” With Modern Love & Heartbreak?
During my high school and college tenure, the word "situationship" hadn't yet been popularized, but the concept certainly was. If you're unfamiliar with the term, it might be because the idea is ambiguous in and of itself.

Love is.... Top Story - February 2024.
I was actually intrigued by this challenge, because to me, love has always been many different things. There's no point in untangling the meaning of love, because it's a rope of many fibers, intristinctly linked. Seperate them, and the whole thing falls apart. The tangled threads of love are a Gordian Knot, impossible to untangle (unless you're Alexander the Great-At-Solving-Problems-With-A-Sword...)

The Love Chronicles
In the quaint town of Willowbrook, nestled between rolling hills and meandering streams, there existed a collection of stories that transcended time. These were tales whispered through the ages, woven into the very fabric of the community. These were the Love Chronicles.

Valentine's Ashes
“What is love? Oh baby, don’t hurt me… Don’t hurt me…no more…” - What Is Love – Haddaway (1993) It is interesting to me to reflect on the fact that the moment I saw this challenge – Love Unraveled – I thought of this mid-90s hit and its very bitter heart within the beats. Looking over the lyrics, it feels as though I am not alone in my feelings about love.
