How Cheating Turns Love into Poison
Often times when love blossoms or blooms (your choice of phrasing), those who fall for each other start with a sweet, cheerful, and happy romance. Two souls just wanting to spend time together and have fun. It stays like this for a duration of time and both of you are happy snuggling up together watching Netflix. Though unfortunately, a time comes where there is a hitch in the road and a fight or argument ensues. You both are left wondering if you'll make it through to tomorrow and oftentimes you do and you love each other again. Although unbeknownst to you as a couple, subconsciously one of you now has more power than the other and that causes your relationship to come crashing down later along the road.

My Thoughts on Love
Love... Everybody has their own meaning of what they think love is or how it feels to be loved. Love is unconditional. Not trying to change someone and accepting them for who they are. You should have a deep feeling of sexual desire and affection towards that person. Love sometimes will be painful, but if it’s the right person, it's worth fighting the pain with that person. It will also bring tears and sadness sometimes. It requires lots of affection, paying attention, listening, trust, great communication, and mutual support. But some people might be too blind when it comes to love. They’ll keep forgiving someone that’s not right for them just because they love that person.

Jay: The 'Real Love'
Our conversation had faded, with him being in the living room relaxing after the meal, and me cleaning up, and loading the dishwasher. It was the least I could do, as he had prepared the entire meal with almost no help from me, even though he'd worked many hours today. The rich aftertaste of African food, and that last sip of wine, still lingered pleasantly in my mouth, and the fragrances of the leftovers were enticing and warm. Though I was full, the food is so nourishing, so comforting, that you feel you could always have just a little more.

Honestly, I Love You
I've never been in this deep with someone, nor have I cared to, and I've never had someone wholeheartedly be patient with me, caring, and love me back. You're a different breed and it's frankly, frightening. I'm afraid to love you because I'm afraid I'll lose myself in the process. But I do anyway, and I perpetuate that fear by overcompensating for you. I go the extra mile to show you my feelings because I can't say them. I know that I choke you with that sometimes too. I'm not the best at this, but again, you're patient, caring, and love me, somehow.

Young Love 101
Life hurts, but with the right partner, you can overcome anything. Being young is fun and challenging at the same time. This is the stage where you find love, where you experience heartbreak. This is the stage where you have to determine where you are going with your life and to make sure that the people you keep in your life will help you get there instead of being detrimental to your growth.

Dear, Future Husband
I can remember the first night I met you. Funny, my head wasn't all the way there. It was in the clouds, high on my new found freedom. I remember you were the life of the party, the one making everyone laugh, the one holding an adventurous spirit between your teeth. At the time I remember thinking he'd chew me up and spit me out, better steer clear of him. As time went on you seemed to be always there, playing video games on the couch, filming at the skate park, talking to me at that lame party I got dragged to and I grew to call you a friend.

Love: Has It Lost Its Meaning?
Love: has it lost its meaning? Some idle thoughts on “love.” A dictionary definition of love is: To have a great attachment to and affection for. To have passionate desire, longing, and feelings for. To like or desire to do something very much. To be in love, an intense emotion of affection, warmth, fondness, and regard towards a person or a thing.

He Who Holds the Magic
What they didn’t tell you is that fairytales aren’t real—I apologize for introducing everyone to a harsh reality. There aren’t knights in shining armor, nor is there a fairy Godmother. There’s definitely not always a “and they lived happily ever after.” Ouch. I know. I will say there is magic that lies in certain situations. A kind of magic so unfathomable that not even a princess herself could possibly grasp it. A magic that has undoubtedly wedged its way into reality. I have experienced magic. He has experienced magic too. He who shall not be named. We hold the magic.
