NOW, WHAT?
I was so in love with my best friend named Lucy. She was an extremely beautiful kind-hearted girl. Every time I had a terrible day or just not in the mood, she would come up with a plan just to see me happy. Basically, it was a challenge for her. So, she would always wanted to win. She wanted to see if she can make me laugh or smile again. the thing she did is Lucy came up to me and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

The Vicious Cycle of BI-Erasure
How often have you asked anyone how did they know they were straight or cisgender? I know I never have. Being straight is not something we question or have to come to terms with. From a young age, we are exposed to heterosexual relationships, binary gender roles and we grow up expecting to be attracted to people that have been assigned the opposite gender to us.

Transgender Day of Remembrance
Today is a day of remembrance of transgender people who have lost their lives. Every year on November 20, Transgender Day of Remembrance is held for that purpose and also, it's because these crimes are not reported and often misgendered by the media. Unfortunately, there aren't many states that have protections for transgender people, which can pose a risk of them being murdered or taking their own lives. Here are some more shocking and disturbing stats about the killings of transgender people worldwide:

Facts About Non-Binary
For the last year or so, I’ve been running across different terms on social media and in articles such as nonbinary, genderfluid, and genderqueer. I’ve never understood what they meant, never heard of them before, and assumed that they were just fads. Most people would argue that there’s only two genders: male and female and there’s no such thing as nonbinary. Unfortunately for some of the skeptics out there, there’s more than two genders and nonbinary is a thing and also, it exists.

Unwanted (Chapter 3)
I hated shopping during the holiday season. I tried to avoid the hustle and bustle of people looking for the perfect dinner ideas. I especially hated this holiday season because I would be spending it alone. Looking at all the happy couples flooded my soul with a cocktail of emotions.
