How to ADULT
Buy slippers. Just do it. Not just one pair. Buy multiples. You need to be comfortable inside where you will be a lot of the time when you are not physically ‘adulting’. Use phrases like ‘but they are so comfy’ and even consider buying a spare set just in case you can’t reach the original. Dressing gowns are optional also. Do not, and I repeat, do not buy or consider purchasing crocs. You haven’t given up that much yet.

How Mer-low Can You Go?
I’ve been seeing the same hairdresser for three years now. Three years. That’s a big commitment for me. My longest relationships weren’t that long! From the moment I found Rafi, I loved him! Photos of his wife and daughters adorned his station. His face lit up when he talked about them. Great with hair, sweet, caring, tall, dark, and handsome! I think I just felt myself swoon!

THAT CHEEKY GLASS OF MERLOT.
THAT CHEEKY GLASS OF MERLOT The elegant restaurant's aura made Vanessa feel right at home after that horrible lockdown the world went through.“Ahh” she thought. She walked straight into the sparkling restaurant and perched herself on one of the many stools surrounding the bar and ordered a large glass of champagne.(Moet & Chandon to be exact). There was a beautiful light song being played on the piano that she had heard before but couldn't put a name to it so it went straight to the back of her mind for that night.

A Vampire Story Continued
A Vampire Story Continued John W. Gilmore It's not been so long since I wrote about the lifestyles of the rich and powerful vampires. I thought I had escaped them, but they followed me. Through Scandavia, through the Baltics, through Russia and all parts of Asia, all around the world. I look and see them there watching, all of the time. They are waiting for me to slip up and to do something that would justify a slow, painful death at their hands, or even worse, an eternal life as a Vampire.

The Merlot Magic Baby!
In a dimly lit corner at a trendy new jazz club called "The Castle," both Lance and Gwen were enjoying the music and each other’s company on their first date. “I’m so glad you suggested this place Lance. I love the music and the atmosphere” said Gwen with a bright smile on her pretty face. “I’m so glad you’re enjoying The Castle Gwen, and that you said yes when I finally asked you out. I was afraid you were more into Arthur than you were into me.” said a relieved Lance. “Oh no Lance. He’s just a guy I have to work with. I’m so glad you got up the courage to ask me out. I heard you were pretty courageous” she said. “I try to be Gwen. I also like trying new things and heard that this place serves a magical Merlot. Would you like to try some?” said Lance with enthusiastic hope in his eyes. “I’d love some Lance” she said. “Great! Excuse me waiter. Can we please have a bottle of your magical Merlot for the table?” he said.

The One With the Intoxicated Neighbor
About a year ago, I found the perfect home for me. It was a bit of a fixer upper on the inside, but the outside amenities were wonderful. It had a fenced in yard, perfect for my three dogs and the cat who occasionally slips out the door. There was a covered deck out back for me to hang all sorts of plants. It even had a garage! The best part, however, was that it was being offered as a mortgage at a fairly reasonable price. I could be a homeowner.

Treasure or Terror?
Hi, my name is Mary, and I am a thrift-shop-aholic. This was not supposed to happen today. This lamp was not supposed to be sitting in my room, but it is. These little creepy lamp kids were not supposed to be staring at me, but they are. Am I mad about it? Not at all. Will I regret it if they stab me with their whittled little arms in the middle of the night? Most likely, yes, but that's ok!
