humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Sweeping Poem
I used to think my job was simple: sweep the street, empty the bins, keep the sidewalk clean enough for people to forget someone like me had been there at all. Most mornings, I moved like a shadow—quiet, invisible, just a man with a broom and a shift that started before the sun respected the sky.

Universal Design Saves Lives. Content Warning.
Content Warning: Medical Assistance in Dying A month ago, on November 2nd, the Montreal mayoral race was concluded with as a winner Soraya Martinez Ferada. A key issue the main four parties discussed at length during their campaign was related to the housing crisis which has for many Quebecers gotten worse over the last few years. Whether that be on the news or at the Quebec Assembly, housing is discussed quite a lot, however, rarely do those conversations include the specific preoccupations of disabled renters.

The Racism You’re Not Supposed to Talk About:
For a community that prides itself on rainbows, love, and “chosen family,” the gay world has a very real, very ugly secret: racism is baked into its culture more deeply than most are willing to admit. People love to chant “love is love” at Pride, but scroll through Grindr for five minutes, walk into a club in a major gay city, or look at who gets put on magazine covers, and you’ll see how conditional that love actually is.

The Aloki: Cherubic Guardians of Souls and the Akashic Records
Introduction The Aloki are a distinct order within the cherubic hierarchy, entrusted with one of the most profound responsibilities in the divine economy: guiding souls through the portal of death and safeguarding the Akashic Records. Unlike other angelic orders whose functions are more widely documented in scripture or mystical literature, the Aloki are known primarily through esoteric traditions and visionary accounts. They are not mythic constructs but real beings whose work is essential to the continuity of spiritual justice and cosmic memory.

The Relation & Differences Between Lucifer, Samael, Azazel, Azrael & Beelzebub
Lucifer, Samael, Azazel, Azrael, and Beelzebub are distinct but often overlapping figures in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions. Lucifer is the fallen archangel associated with pride and rebellion; Samael is the accuser and angel of death in Jewish lore; Azazel is linked to the scapegoat ritual and later demonized as a fallen angel; Azrael is the angel of death in Islam and sometimes Judaism; and Beelzebub originates as a Philistine deity, later reinterpreted as a prince of demons. Another angel that deals in death and transition is the cherub subset of Aloki. They help guide souls over are the keepers of the akashic records. Their roles differ—Lucifer embodies rebellion, Samael destruction, Azazel corruption, Azrael transition of souls, and Beelzebub demonic leadership—but they are often conflated in later demonologies.

Augustine’s Seed Principles (Rationes Seminales) and Secondary Causation
St. Augustine’s rationes seminales (“seed principles”) describe how God created the world with latent potentialities—seeds of future forms—that unfold over time. This idea connects to the theological notion of secondary causation, where God is the primary cause of creation but allows natural processes to act as secondary causes. Together, these concepts provide a framework for understanding creation as both divinely sustained and dynamically unfolding. I personally feel that this principle is laid out clearly in Genesis.

How Science and the Bible Can Complement Each Other—With Evolution and Quantum Physics in View
The supposed “conflict” between science and faith is largely a modern myth. Historically, many scientists—including Isaac Newton, Johannes Kepler, and James Clerk Maxwell—saw their work as “thinking God’s thoughts after Him.” Theologians likewise welcomed careful study of nature as a way of understanding God’s creation. A fruitful framework for this relationship is the “two books” model: God reveals Himself in Scripture (the Book of Scripture) and in the created order (the Book of Nature). Properly read, these cannot contradict, since truth is unified.

Recognizing Awakening as a Summoning
Recognizing Awakening as a Summoning Summary: Awakening is best understood not as a gift or sign of superiority, but as a summoning back to source. It is the process of ego loosening its grip, surrendering to faith, and accepting the journey home.

“I’m Proud to Be an American” is Antichristian Nationalism
I have always felt a little cringey whenever I hear Lee Greenwood belting out "God Bless the U.S.A." out on the radio or at events. Although it strokes the ego of a large section of the U.S.A. populance, it is NOT a Christian song, and it doesn't manifest or support God's values.
