humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Good Grief
There are certain liberties you can take when you are telling a story as an old woman. By now, my hair has been grey for far longer than it has ever been brown. I am what this new generation considers a figure of the past. It’s easy to look back with rose-coloured glasses, a fondness that glosses over mistakes and covers the blemishes you’d rather not remember.

Leather Bound Wishes
The Weird Beginning I walked into the store. Something about the store was calling to me. I was on my way home from work and I was passing this store that I’ve driven by a million times. For some reason, I felt an overwhelming desire to stop and check it out. I looked around and the store had a very chill, but weird vibe. It was quiet and there were a few people scattered throughout. There were books and stones and incense on the walls. They had pendulums in cases and sage bundles on shelves. Candles and dried herbs and statues filling different rooms. I walked around quietly taking it all in. I walked over to the wall of stones. All these different crystals in so many colors. There were cards next to the crystal case that told about the properties of the crystal and ways to use it. In the corner of my eye, I see a little black leather-bound book. The book is sitting on an end table next to a large brown leather chair. It was like someone had been sitting there reading it. There were leather strings wrapped around the book to keep it closed. I looked around to see if someone had left their book but no one was anywhere near the book. The book looked old, almost like a worn bible. I walked over to the table and picked up the book. The pages were tan and looked worn but still in good condition. I opened the book and inside there were lined pages, but not a single word was present in the book. It was empty. I fanned through the pages trying to find the substance. Maybe this was a journal of some sort. Like an antique.

Dear Stranger
The air is heavy, and the sidewalks slick with the evidence of last night’s rain. Oil on the road makes rainbow swirls, and multicolored leaves litter the sidewalks and spilling out into the street, creating a kaleidoscopic effect against the inky background.

Rice Paper
Elitsa marched down the street with all the duty and purpose that could fit onto a nine-year-old’s face. She wore a red flowery dress, orange stockings, and a pair of black shoes that had seen far too much play time. Her arms were hugged tight around a paper grocery bag.

only you episode 1- Jung Y/N
Y/N P.O.V *Alarm rings* 7:30 A.M It's the day of my graduation ceremony and I can't believe that this day has finally come. My roommate/best friend Chaeyoung (aka Rose) is still fast asleep, so I decided to wake her up in a special way. I grab her baby pink headphones, so I can play her favorite song while she's still catching some z's. As I'm getting ready to put on the song this feeling by the Chainsmokers, she suddenly wakes up and ends up startling me instead.
