humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
My Passion:
Hundreds of girls practicing for the Olympics over the last 20 years were sexually abused by their assumed-to-be trusted coach. In the early 2000s, this story broke: priests in the Catholic Church were sexually abusing children. The Boy Scouts of America, in the face of a new wave of abuse allegations in 2019, filed for bankruptcy. So many, many more are abused by mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, and others. Some children told when or shortly after they were abused. Nothing was done. By anyone. The children grew up. They told, some of them for another time. Now, after keeping the secret for decades in some instances because they were groomed and shamed and manipulated into doing that, something is sometimes done, by some, in some places – but definitively not in all. Some people are now saying: anyone dealing even remotely with children need to be trained; parents need to be educated; children need to be spoken to.

Damn It
Certainty is one of the three c's along with comfort and convenience that erodes creativity, courage, and curiousity and replaces it with the mire and muck of complacency. In my opinion, we need more uncertainty, inconvenience, and discomfort. I am not suggesting a perpetual masochistic deception but an acceptance of insecurity and suffering. Occasionally, we should embrace our doubts, the delays and lineups, and the minor pinch points of growth and change. There is much to learn, appreciate, and correct when we experience the real world rather than pretend and delude ourselves that everything is okay or will be fine.

Energies Work
“Everything in your life is an extension of your energy. Things don’t “happen to you”. You create them.” Usually, we have a tendency to approach God as a saviour once we are stuck in any difficult or life-threatening situation but have you ever thought how does God send you the help?

How Many Lives Have You Lived?
This idea always fascinated me. While 2020 has been a challenging year for all of us, it’s also a much-celebrated milestone. It’s the closing of another decade. Ironically, I also turned thirty last month. That too was a bitter-sweet end of a decade toasted to my wanderlust twenties.

No good deed
No good deed goes unpunished! It sounded suspiciously like the flu to me. Worldwide pandemic that never quite made it to my lucky country. When people started going crazy and emptying out the supermarkets preparing for the worst I sat back and laughed at how serious those around me were taking the situation.
