Is it Even Okay to be Happy Now?
There's no shortage of reasons to be unhappy In this third spring of the pandemic, we are only just emerging, or so we hope, into some semblance of our old freedoms. As we begin to confront its staggering collateral damage - burned-out teachers, a mental health epidemic among school-aged kids, people in assisted living facilities who may never recover the cognitive ground lost during the long stretches of isolation - a new crowd of miseries pounds at the doors of our awareness.

Freedom Requires Action
Do you feel free. There are times when I don't. I am afraid to go see a movie because of troubled boys with guns. I am afraid to quit my job because of inflation. I am afraid to share my values for fear of being judged by others. I live in a world of fear that robs me of my freedom.

Ten things that I have learnt from the coronavirus pandemic..
1/ WE (AS HUMANS ) ARE ALL THE SAME... We are all fragile.. and a tiny invisible virus , deems us all , no matter what our age, sex, color or nationality..infallable to its desire to infiltrate our cells and make us sick.

Empathy for the Excess
When it comes to substance abuse most of us are quick to be judgmental. Many of us self proclaimed judges have probably never dealt with addiction to drinking or drugs, but when it comes to the ones who have, we are quick to condemn. I think it is important to remember that simply condemning a person who is an addict doesn't help them come to terms with the wrong in their addiction and how it is hurtful to the people around them, instead we need to acknowledge the circumstances that have pushed them to this limit and try to appeal to their humanity.
