humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Building the Best Version of Yourself.
It is often said, “Your thoughts shape your future” and for good reason. How often one thinks and what these thoughts comprise can truly determine the success and happiness, or lack thereof, in a person’s life. It is not a guarantee that every good thought will lead to positive outcomes or that every negative thought will bring hardship, but, from a broad perspective, how a person thinks and what they think about will directly shape the future of their personal lives.

Exploring
Recently, I have been exploring. I have not been swinging from tree tops and looking at sunsets in distant lands over strange emerald cliffs. I have not gone to a new art gallery nor have I ventured down a previously unfamiliar walking trail. I have not been listening to new music or going to visit new businesses, and I have not started a new book, though I ought to. No, I have done none of these things that one might normally associate with exploring. Instead, I have been exploring the wonderful world of how to pay my bills.

Oh you, stranger!
O you, stranger, who is a bit bored today...get up from your comfortable armchair...go to your rich library and pull out a world map from the corner of that dusty shelf...Find Europe, that far-known continent...it's not difficult, right?...Well, then look down there on the right. What do you see? A lot of things...So many states and small states, a real colorfulness...Among other things, one name catches your eye, it says: Bosnia and Herzegovina. "It takes up so little space, but it has such a big name," you think to yourself. Well, it intrigues you. You turn on your exclusive laptop from the latest generation and slowly sipping a rarely expensive coffee from a huge porcelain cup, you begin your journey through the story of this small piece of land in the hilly Balkans.

Not To Be Dramatic or Anything…
So I’ve had my fair share of sickness in my 23 (very nearly 24) years of being alive but up until a few years ago I thought my immune system was just too good at beating illnesses. I used to be the type of person that could wake up with a cold in the morning and go to bed that night feeling perfectly fine.

False Promises
Taking false, unrealistic ideas about what a person should do, think, feel, and look like and placing these ideas into the heads of immature, developing adolescent minds and bodies makes a huge impact on their lives in social, emotional, psychological, and physical aspects. The timeless idea that a man should be thin, muscular, rich, chiseled, intelligent and well-dressed is one such idea that permeates media. The hit television show Suits showcases all of these features in one of the main characters Harvey. He is a high price lawyer in New York who exhibits all of these traits. Not only is this a fictional character, but the lifestyle that Harvey engages in is unrealistic and his physical appearance is doctored by makeup, special effects and intensive preparation.

Focus
With so many companies now offering remote working it is becoming increasingly harder to remain focused. Of course, we are still getting the job done, but are we really being as efficient as we could be? Think of it this way; are we getting as much work done remotely as we would if we were not. There are distractions everywhere, from the weather, kids, pets, phone calls, or even errands for the house and not for the job. Sure, we might be completing the tasks our employers are mandating, but could we be more efficient about it? Sure, we can!
