friendship
C.S Lewis got it right: friendship is born when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one!"
To my person/bestie
To my best friend (you know who you are), Yes you're my best friend. No I don't know why or how that happened. No there's no upgrades or refunds, you're stuck with me. You could do worse. Maybe you could do better, but do you really want to try? Yes, it's really been 4 years since we met.

Open Letter To My Bestie
Dear Bestie, I am so thankful that you came into my life. Before I met you, I didn't think that good people still existed in this world. I've been mistreated and stabbed in the back by so many so called friends, I lost count. You showed me that I shouldn't judge someone before I get to know them. I still remember the first day we met.

Best Friends: Twenty Years and Counting
To Janly, It’s hard to believe we have been best friends for over twenty years now. Looking back, it’s hard to remember when we became us. When I met you, I was just your brother’s girlfriend. My earliest memory of you consists of you locking me out of your house. And the time I bought you a toy stable for your birthday, which you proceeded to quickly destroy. Neither one of us imagined at the time how close we would one day become.

Two Drag Queens one Wig
During Quarantine I was laid off, and didn’t know what to do, couldn’t see my family, who were miles away, and was too scared to do anything else, but go to my local corner store and Back. Load myself up with hand sanitizer. And pray. I’ve been a hair stylist for Ten years and my best friend has always been in the Photography business, but are main focus is performing together as female illusionists in Buffalo, NY. No matter what bar, or venue, we always wanted to be in the same show together, if we don’t perform together, we agree it’s just Boring!!!

My sister from another mother!
Finding your perfect match in a friend is nothing short of a miracle! Jen and I met in the coolest way. I am a PartyLite consultant aka Candlebabe which led me to Jen. She is one of my two besties I met through PartyLite about twelve years ago.

Remember When...
Remember when we first met? In high school; in the cafeteria. We were sophomores, but it was my first year at a new school--your school. I remember feeling so scared and anxious. It was already hard enough for me to make new friends. I never thought I'd meet someone who cares about me; someone who understands and listens to me; someone who fully accepts me for who I am. My best friend.

The Adventures of Lorne W.P Vanderwoude
My name is Lorne W.P Vanderwoude. I was born on a Friday on April 26 in 1968. I was brought into this world by my birth mother. She had to give me up for adoption because of the fact that she had a mental disease. She held me for thirty minutes then I was taken away from her. I was sent from Red Deer to Edmonton just so she could not ever find me even if she wanted to.

My Girl
Hey G, How are you my girl? I miss you. I miss that loud, contagious cackle that always turned into noises of nonsense. 2020, you would simply not believe! It began with the land burning, the deep red of the outback penetrated the entire country. Now, we’re trying to navigate the uncharted territory of a global pandemic. The world feels as though it’s no longer united, and each country is functioning as their own separate entity. Our oasis is see-soaring between isolation and what we’re starting to call “the new normal”, (but it’s not normal at all). We were masked then, and we’re masked now. The Black Lives Matter movement is finally in focus and has sparked wider conversations of systemic racism, privilege, misogyny and LGBTQI+ rights that need light and airtime. We are all really trying our best, and I know you would be too. It would be so great to chat to you about it all, and hear your commentary over a glass of pinot noir.

Bob Reveals The True Treasure
Once upon a time, there lived a farmer named Shane. He used to work in the fields day and night to feed his large family. Once, severe rain and hail destroyed his produce. With little food and money to just last a few days, Shane was in a desperate situation. Other farmer families in his village were also in similar condition.
