No Signature Required
Shae stares blankly out of the window next to her small joyless office cubicle, absentmindedly twirling her curly brown hair. Her mind was a million miles away, daydreaming about all the places she’d rather be. A loud noise suddenly rips her from her trance. She gasps, looking around frantically for the source of the noise. Her eyes land on her phone lit up on the corner of her desk with a notification from her doorbell camera. She unlocks the phone slightly concerned, she wasn’t expecting any visitors or deliveries today. Her jaw drops as she opens the video to see a large black drone slowly lowering a brown package onto her front step before flying out of view. She can see lettering on the top of the package, but the video isn't clear enough to make it out.

What is love?
Honestly I kind of think asking what love is, is a really loaded question. It’s an unquantifiable emotion felt everywhere, everyday. Someone once told me that where there is life, there is love. I think the best place to start is by acknowledging that love is so much more than just romance. Love is found through our family, friends, pets, and even through our passions. We have all experienced at least one kind of love in our lives. To think otherwise is naive. Through loving we are able to find happiness, bliss, and a sense of purpose.

Introductions, Please
Introductions, Please I would like to introduce myself and no doubt there will be negative reactions to what I have to say in this post and any posts that may follow. To save you time looking up my profile and seeing what I have posted I will tell you upfront. I am a 55-year-old white American Christian male. The fact that I am a 55-year-old person should not factor in anyone’s view of me, yet it will. The fact that I am a person of Caucasian descent should not factor into anyone’s view of me, yet it will. The fact that I am an American should not factor into anyone’s view of me, yet it will. The fact that I believe in Jesus Christ and that he is the Messiah should not factor into anyone’s view of me, yet it will. The fact that I am a male should not factor into anyone’s view of me, yet it will. The fact that I do not think as you, should not factor into anyone’s view of me, yet it will. The fact that I do not have the same beliefs as you should not factor into anyone’s view of me, yet it will. My actions and MY actions alone should factor into anyone’s view of me, but many will allow preconceived biases to shape their judgment of me. And before anyone asks, What about speech? I would put that under actions as much as writing. When you express your thoughts and beliefs, that is an action, as much as physical actions are.
