Suspended Reality: Crushing Feeling
We were in an indoor amphitheater of sorts. It was very small on the whole, with a relatively short diameter and a shallow number of rows. It was practically all made of light wood - the walls, the stairs, the benches, the tables directly in front of them - and the lighting was warm but kind of dim. My friends and I made our way up the stairs to a row near to the back. Molly slid in first, then Chloe and I followed the suit. We faced the center, a wooden circular platform elevated half a foot off the floor that was more brightly lit than the rest of the room.

Suspended Reality
Author's Note: All stories in this 'series' will be based off of dreams I have legitimately had. They all involve people I know in real life, but I will use aliases in place of their names. I will attempt to be consistent between dreams for people who show up often.

I Became a 'Sun Girl'. What Followed Haunts Me Till Today.
Page 3 of The Sun Newspaper. I always enjoyed looking at that page. It was the page allotted to Sun’s Weekly “Sun Girl”. When I got very broke around 2014 and I had no money, I found myself doing a lot of things that I swore I wouldn’t do. It's very easy to say what you will and won’t do for money when you live in abundance. Once that abundance is gone, my sister, you will very quickly learn that maybe there’s a whole lot of things you are actually willing to do. I started out doing noble hustles: I cleaned, I scrubbed, I cooked, I baked, I did it all. Until one day, one of my colleagues, a fellow server at the restaurant I served at started gisting me about how she makes money on the side.

The Reckoning
The yellow flames swirled around the blackening embers. They intertwined as they engulfed the coal completely. Fred’s eyes were fixed on the dancing flames as he mused, sipping his tea in his armchair. After Salim’s death that night, he had known the story was not over. He had anticipated consequences. He had warned the others. Then the first note came some days later. It was followed by another. Then another. In the month after Salim’s death five notes altogether had been posted to them. Fred had waited for the impending knock on the door from the police.
