Dear Soul Sisters,

I couldn’t choose to write to just one of you without the other; it wouldn’t feel right. Neither of you need a letter to know how important you both are to me but I’m going to write one anyways. Through the laughs, the tears, and the fears you both have stood loyally by my side and I could not be more grateful or honored for the friendship.

Sarah,

I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be who I am today without having known you. Throughout my life I had only known betrayal from those I’ve gotten close to and you restored my faith. You came into my life when I needed a light and cracked opened my heart by showing me what it truly means to care for and support someone. You defined the word “friend” for me. The amount of times you intuitively knew when something was wrong or checked up on me in the most divine timing did not go unnoticed. I truly believe our souls have known each other for eternity and I have to give credit for some great cosmic force bringing us together. Even in the moments when you watched me continuously try to heal a man who only wanted to damage me you still held the space to pick me up and support my choices. Looking back I know that relationship put you through pain too and I am so grateful you never gave up on me. Your constant support and understanding saved my life in the most literal way. Thank you for showing me how to authentically give and receive love 💕

You are a warrior. I may have never told you this but you set my standards for self love and self respect. No matter how terrible someone treated you or what adversity you faced I never once saw the flame of your self worth fade. I admire you and your resilience. Through my moments of doubt I could always rely on you to lend a shoulder and you never once let me get down on myself. Even when your cup was empty you still managed to try to fill mine. I don’t even know if thanking you is enough. But thank you. From the first moment I decided to talk to you in that theater class I knew I had experienced your energy before and then the rest was history. Throughought the years you’ve been more than just a friend. You have been my fighter, my accomplice, my sister, my teacher, and my cheerleader.

We are the strongest team anyone could ever face and I know that no matter what happens in my life I will always have you two. We each have something unique we bring to the table and together those simple qualities just become amplified. It is real magic. The world became much less daunting the moment you two arrived because for the first time ever I finally felt what a home should feel like.
