Relationships end for a variety of reasons. It's often no one's fault, and no one is to blame — things simply didn't work out.
It's never simple to deal with heartbreak.

Breaking up when you're still in love
You're probably here against your will, but you don't see any other option than to end your relationship with someone you still care about.
I'm sure you've been experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions as a result of what's been going on, including disappointment, hurt, frustration, melancholy, and fury. And now, much to your dismay, you're debating whether and how to break up, despite the fact that you're still in love.
I completely understand how divided you are - your brain is undoubtedly urging you to leave because "waiting is pointless," while your heart is telling you to stay because "you can't live without them."
My goal is to assist you in determining if and when to end a relationship with someone you care about, as well as how to do it.
Let's get started..
Even if you're still in love, there are times when you should leave a relationship.
There is only one circumstance in which I strongly advise you to leave the relationship as quickly as possible. When your partner is abusive to you, you are in this situation.
If you are in an abusive relationship and decide to stop it, even if you love your spouse, keep your intentions to end the relationship private. First, get assistance!
When is it appropriate to end a relationship with someone you adore?
Before you ever consider quitting your relationship, you should be sure you've tried everything you can to make it work.
Ideally,
- You and your partner have discussed your relationship issues and how you may each contribute to the healing of your relationship.
- You've taken the time to learn about how relationships function and what it takes to maintain a healthy one.
- You've accepted responsibility for the problems you've brought into the relationship on your own.
- You've enlisted the help of a professional counsellor, a relationship coach, a religious leader, or a qualified volunteer to help you with your relationship. Alternatively, you may have discussed your concerns with someone you know who possesses knowledge, insight, and the ability to be nonjudgmental.
Have you completed all of the above? Let's take a look at why you would want to break up with someone you care about.
Signs that it's time to call it quits with someone you care about
Those indicators that it's time to call it quits, even if you're still in love

The events and relationship challenges listed below are by no means exhaustive. I'm confident, though, that it will assist you in deciding whether or not to break up with someone you care about:
- The connection has no prospects.
- You're being mistreated.
- You each have your own set of values and beliefs.
- Your lover isn't putting in much effort.
- Your partner is addicted to something.
- Your partner puts their own interests first.
- Your partner is lying to you.
- You've lost faith in your relationship since they're cheating on you.
- You've been disoriented.
- For hours, if not days, your lover does not talk to you.
How to end a relationship with someone you still care about
It's one thing to know when to stop a relationship with someone you still care about. Knowing how to break up with someone when you feel you can't live without them is another matter entirely.
Breaking up with someone you love is unquestionably more difficult than growing apart from them. Unfortunately, there's no way to do it without feeling enormously bereft — not only for yourself, but also for your partner.
Finally, Trust that you are far more capable than you believe. You've probably already been through a difficult period, so you know you'll make it through whatever is ahead.
After a breakup, the best advise I received was to "be enthusiastic to explore new relationships and activities in life," rather than weeping about someone who did not value me." 'You're too young,' she says. There will be lots more heartbreaks for you.
