Real Reasons Why Actor Bolanle Ninalowo And Wife Reconciled After 12 Years Of Separation

Popular Nollywood actor cum producer, Bolanle Ninalowo goes by many nicknames like Nino B, Makanaki amongst others. He is a 42-year-old father of two, who is married to Bunmi Ninalowo—a marriage that is filled with love but has had it’s fair share of flaws.

Though an actor, Bolanle Ninalowo is a graduate of Accounting and Marketing from two prestigious universities in the United States. He is also the cousin of Rukky Sanda, a Nigerian movie producer, and actress.

Nino B was a banker in the United States before moving to Nigeria and joining Guaranty Trust Bank. His first attempt in the Nollywood movie industry was as a movie producer for his debut film 'Rebirth'

Nino is not just a successful actor, but one of those actors blessed with a beautiful and lovely family which almost became the opposite over infidelity reports. Their love story started off on a very good note in 2004 since it was love at first sight. Ninalowo and Bunmi were so inseparable that they started living together two weeks after they met.

According to Bolanle Ninalowo, he met his wife, Bunmi, a successful entrepreneur, when he was 24 years old and a nobody. In a 2023 interview with Allure Vanguard, Nino B gushed about how he met the love of his life and how their parents reacted to their young relationship at the time. He said:

“Bunmi is my treasure from God. Only God can bless a man with such a jewel. I saw her in a mall 19 years ago and it’s been never to let go ever since despite our shortcomings. You can say I recognised a blessing at first sight. Our families were very supportive. Our relationship was quite similar to that of our parents, having met each other in their youth as well. They gave us their blessings and supported us whole-heartedly.

Bunmi and I met when I was a nobody. I was just 24 trying to discover myself and my goals in life. We have been together since I had just a kobo and now still together as a blessed family.”

How Their Marriage Started

According to Nino, they married at a court in the United States in 2007, in a tiny and unofficial ceremony that he and his wife had hoped for. They split up in 2016, but reconciled in 2018, reigniting the spark of love between them. They reconciled after realizing that each marriage and couple are unique, and that they should not compare their marriage or its issues to those of others.

Nino also stated that he had to put himself in his wife's shoes, humble himself, and never let a third party interfere with their marital issues.

Aliyah, their first child, was born on March 7, 2006, months after their wedding, while Morakinyo was born on July 2, 2008. Though their frequent and undeniable display of love and affection for one another on social media may give the impression of an all-time rosy love tale, that isn't the case—and the two never fail to make this clear.

The couple, who have two beautiful children, had been separated for two years but have clearly emerged stronger, leading a love life that makes them a constant reference point. The couple claims they had to divorce because Nino's infidelity and youthful exuberance made the marriage toxic and miserable for them.

The actor claimed that he and his wife had to be separated because he began to neglect his wife on his path to success, which caused him to become selfish and impatient. Ninalowo stated in a 2022 interview with a media personality how he was able to regain his wife's confidence after cheating on her. Throughout it all, Nino B learned that family is vital to him, and he never stops bragging about his wife and children.
